Q: What is the actual size of the induction cooker? How big can you put a pot?

I've used a 8 quart, 4 quart Dutch ovens and a 12" cast iron pan, all have worked well. My favorite is the 4 quart dutch oven, it makes a nice pot of soup. Thank you.

Q: Can i use this with a 1000 watt inverter?

Hello Thanks for your inquiry. The maximum power of Sunmaki induction cooker is 1800W. If you use a 1000W inverter, you can only use the power less than or equal to 1000W, and don't adjust it to a gear that exceeds 1000W.

Q: How big is thr cooking coil?

The ring is 8 inches in diameter. I regularly use a pot that is 12 inches in diameter with no problems or uneven heating for one pot of soups and sauces.

Input power does not follow set power.

When set to 400 watts the input power is 1350 watts …. a series of several seconds on the several off .i.e. not really suitable as a low power appliance for solar/battery/inverter systems without instantaneous knowledge of all other loads :-(Fan noise is intrusive.
