A Counselor’s Introduction to Neuroscience

I am impressed with the combination of neuroscience and counseling fields in this book. The authors do a great job in communicating how these two fields overlap (or should overlap). The book uses some good examples and is not too complicated for the practitioner.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a quick, no nonsense book that can be enjoyed by anyone wanting to see the connection between neuroscience and counseling.

Awesome text! Clear to understand and thorough in teaching how the mind works/ and parts of he brain/functions. Wish I had this back in undergrad!

This is for people with absolutely no knowledge of the brain. If you have even the most basic understanding of neuropsychology, this book will underwhelm you.

Well writen for the lay person. Language isnt too dry given its a book on neuroscience. Using it in sessions already.

Reads like a teen novel.
