JUST LET ME SLEEP
Great product idea, wish the technology worked. It charges the phone and the juice pack perfectly, and as advertised. Unfortunately, once it's done doing that, it has connectivity issues with the charging base and the phone alerts you every two minutes when the phone charger disconnects and then reconnects. Especially annoying when it's at 2am and you're sleeping within earshot. Wakes me and the wife up all night long. Unhappy wife retaliates during the day with snide 'flawed technology" remarks and suggestions of sleeping on the couch. Now I just use it as a stand, and leave the cord plugged directly into the phone. Kind of an expensive magnetic phone stand. Sad face. So hey, Mophie - if you can fix the connectivity issue here, you'd really have a great product. Juice pack itself is amazing. This charger stand is a homewrecker.

Terrible design!
One of the most poorly designed products that I have purchased. Technologically it's great, sits on my desk and charges my iPhone 7S just by attaching the magnetic case to the mount. However, the neck that holds up the mount is way too fragile! I've broken two of these within just a few months of purchasing each. I won't be buying another, and I'm now looking for a competitor for wirelessly charging iPhones.

Head snaps off and then the charger dies after about 4 months..
When it works, it is great - grabs onto the phone with magnets and holds it securely. The phone charges seamlessly with no fiddling around to put it on a flat charger that needs to be positioned perfectly before it charges (that would be you Mophie chargepad!) But, then one day the arm snaps... so I opt to attach the phone to the charging base because that still works.. until it doesn't... I have purchased 4 of these... I thought the first arm snapping was a fluke but now that 3 of them have snapped and they no longer even charge, I am submitting this review to let you know not to waste your money! They seem like a great idea but all Mophie products are great until about 4 months in and then they no longer work - they have good customer service when you buy items from them, they will replace but do you really want to go through that every few months??

Works with modification for the car
I bought this as an alternative to the vent mount mope charge force dock. As previous reviewers have noted, as long as you get a base that has a 17mm ball joint you can use this in the car.I bought this cheap one for less than $10:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FYDXEYG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7However, I also needed to buy a cigarette lighter to USB adapter because the USB port in my car wouldn't power this dock. I ended up buying a 2.1A adapter at Target for $20 and that had sufficient amperage to power up the dock. It actually charges my phone/mophie case faster than I anticipated, even running maps and Spotify while I drive.I would definitely recommend this setup for the car, especially if you won't want to lose a whole vent by covering it with your phone and the mophie vent dock.

but it would've been nice to have the option not to
Seems to work very well for the Juice Pack Air case on the iPhone 7 Plus. I'm not crazy about the base or how wobbly the arm is, but if you have the right surface to put it onto (which you MUST CLEAN first to remove dust, dirt, etc.) then it sticks itself down very well and won't budge an inch.I do wish they had a non-sticky, weighted option though. I use a fabric desk mat and the base won't really stick well to it, for obvious reasons. I'm working around it by switching to a fitted mousepad, but it would've been nice to have the option not to.I bought a few of these, one for home, one for work, one for my nightstand, and I also put one in my car! It's the same base as the vent mount, just, well, using a ball mount instead. I'm using a RAM Mount rear view mirror base, standard extension arm, and an ARKON Ram to Garmin adapter. You can affix it to any car mount that uses a Garmin-style 17mm ball, but I'm partial to RAM style mounts and adapters because they're sturdy and use springs and rubber pieces that significantly dampen vibrations. The rear view is one of the shakier bases you can use, but it still holds pretty steady. I mounted the base itself upside-down, but ran a 15 foot MicroUSB cable (rated for 2.4 amp charging) above the mirror, around the windshield, down the door column and below the seat - so even though it holds my phone up high, there are no cables in my way. Take care to avoid running it along any side airbags if you do this yourself (do what I did and ask a mechanic familiar with your car to check it first if you're not sure.)With a matching Mophie case like mine, the magnets hold VERY well. It's almost difficult to remove. I've hit big bumps in my car and the phone doesn't budge from the mount. On the desk, I can reposition it by grabbing the base behind the phone and tilting or turning and the phone stays firmly attached. My one issue is that sometimes the phone disconnects and then reconnects while connected. It was worse when I had grip tape on the back of the phone case; once I removed it in favor of honeycomb grips on the edges, it improved significantly, but it still occasionally acts up.I did notice that if you've got both a drained phone and case, and you're using something very power-intensive like a GPS app combined with a music streaming service, it will charge but only at a slow pace. It's also going to generate a bit of heat in general, which isn't a problem for me or most people, but might be if you use it in an already hot environment. It's probably a good idea to keep enough slack in your cable that you can switch it to the phone instead, or have a second cable handy, just in case you find yourself in a situation where the power demands are very high or heat becomes an issue.

Cheap quality, magnets useless, broke after 8 days.
Waste of money. I opened the box and started using the item March 27th, 2018. Out the box, the plastic stand feels extremely flimsy. The magnets on the charger itself can't hold up my phone which is a Galaxy S7E inside of a Mophie Battery Case (which is supposed to be designed to work with this).Today, April 4th, 2018, the wireless charger has fully stopped working.I thought maybe my wall charger broke, but when connecting the phone directly to usb it charges fine. Wireless charging works fine on other chargers in the house so I know it's not my phone/case.Would not recommend this item.Pros:-It looks cool, but that's about it.Cons:-Magnets are useless, can't hold up phone-Flimsy cheap plastic arm to hold charger mount-Charger stopped working after 8 daysInstead of trying to replace this under warranty, I just threw it away.

Great desk mount for a Juice Pack encased device, and can be hybridised to create a hot-swap car vent-mount charger!
I have a Samsung S8+ which wears a Mophie Juice Pack jacket, making for a hefty-ish smartphone but one that runs forever (OK, not quite) without charging. This desk mount isn't cheap, in true Mophie fashion, but it's well made and does the job of holding the smartphone in place while it charges and at a good adjustable angle. However, what I really wanted was a mag-mount charger for the van, one of those vent-attached things, and Mophie do one of those as well. Trouble is, while it works and supports the weight OK, it doesn't have a 360 swivel. That made it useless for me.So, I bought this desk mount and a WizGear air vent mag-mount. The latter *does* have a 360 swivel joint but the rather pathetic magnet cannot hold the weight of the device in a battery case. So I went all Dr Frankenstein with them, and removed the mag-mount from the WizGear to leave me with the swivel joint. It just pops out under firm pressure. The Mophie desk mount comes in three pieces, one of which is the mag-mount itself. The swivel joint just pops into this and it's ready. I now have a sturdy vent-attached charging mag-mount for the van (see photos) and when I arrive at the office I just unclip the mag-mount bit and take it into the office to attach to the desk mount. Sorted! My wallet is rather depleted, but sorted nonetheless...

Morphie recommendable
Has strong magnet to hold my mophie wireless case.Unfortunately it does not surport my new iPhone 8 Plus. Become a fan of upright wireless charger.Bought another that can/will surport upto 11 pro max for future.Highly recommended morphie products.

Stand is very wobbly when holding a phone!
Stand is very wobbly when holding my phone. Charges it ok buy not good if you don’t watch what you are doing when you remove the phone. For a Mophie product and price, should have been a lot better than this...Update!Don’t buy this rubbish! My phone with a Mophie cover slides down the so called magnet, and if it does start charging, it clicks on and off constantly. Complete rubbish, Mophie and Amazon shouldn’t sell this!

Good build quality but noise during charging let's it down.
The mophie Charge force is clearly of high quality and feels premium. As a phone stand this functions extremely well, the magnetic contact between the iphone 6 case and the stand was very firm however as a charger it's not good as it is very noisy. I could hear the device all the way across my bedroom from my desk to my bed making it hard to sleep. Overall would not recommend this product especially at the price listed.
