I originally got this filter due to supply problems but now realize I'll be saving a lot by getting it. I have pets so go through filters often. I haven't been through the cleaning process yet that is sure to be more difficult in the winter.

These filters are worth their weight in gold, and definitely worth the price. Run the system for 3 months, take them down and hose them off... let them air dry and then reinstall. NO MORE buying expensive paper/fiber filters that cost almost as much as this unit, and this has a MERV 13 rating. This is as good as it can get. Don't think about this... BUY IT! You will not be sorry, and you will be saving potentially THOUSANDS of dollars over time!

I purchased two of these Filti Washable HVAC AC Furnace Filters. After 6 months of use, I thought it was time to clean them. The process is was easy, but in the mean time letting them dry off, I ended up putting in two standard filters so we have the AC running.After a few moments when it kicked on w/ the standard AC filters it was so quite and mute. It was honestly very nice. I did notice that when using these Filti Washable HVAC AC Furnace Filters it was LOUD!Now my AC unit is in a new home build, to be exact it is a 16 seer TRANE AC unit. So it is very efficient. I was just tired of replacing filters every 3-6 months depending which filters I have used.Even though these Filti Washable HVAC AC Furnace Filters are reusable, they are just too loud when the AC is running. I mean it whistles and then when the unit turns off, it kinda clunks. Pretty annoying. I personally will not be putting these back in.

As someone who on more than one occasion has gone to change one of those disposable filters only to find it sideways or skewed in the vent I was pleased to get a filter that is sturdy enough to remain rigid and stay in place. This one is well made and washable. Very pleased.

We bought this to try out since we had moved to a new state and where replacing filters every month. The filter has been great and easy to clean. Very heavy duty and we notice cleaner air. Would highly recommend.

I purchased 4 of these as MERV 13 filters, and thought I'd be saving a ton of money overtime. What happened? In the summer months (until now) my A/C bills went very high, and my ducted mini-split heatpump units couldn't keep my house cool! had to have an emergency visit from an HVAC specialist, only to find out that these filters were barely letting air pass. Something about "Static Pressure" but the long and the short of it is that once he replaced the filters with conventional replacable filter, the system performed wonderfully; as it was designed.I wouldn't recommend buying these filters without first consulting with an HVAC professional. The intent is good, but they are not the universal solution one would hope. Now I have a box of 4 filters that are worthless to me.

That I do not have to replace it every year…Just spray to keep it clean……

This filter severely restricted the air flow in my heat pump system. I bought two of these right after I purchased my house in anticipation of changing them frequently. As it turned out, I didn't install one until after my return window was closed. The filters make a tremendous amount of wind noise and allows little or no air movement. Please read other reviews that speak to the air restriction of these filters before you purchase this filter. I CANNOT recommend this item. In the long run I will pay a lot more for disposable filters but it beats the cost of having a major system failure.
