Doesn't leak
It doesn't leak, and it does really well with regular-sized mouth 3 gallon jugs. It will do just fine with a 5 gallon jug too. That's because the jugs can be dumped in and the water that doesn't fill in the crock will stay in the jug upside down. Don't use a wide mouth jug, because it's harder to keep from spilling when you dump the water in.

Holds up well! Easy to use!
It does hold a 5 gallon PLASTIC CONTAINER! In instructions, it highly recommends not placing a 5 gallon GLASS CONTAINER on top! It works well and have not had any leaking issues in the months I’ve owned this! The stand I had bought separately, but it does come with a ceramic lid. I highly recommend this if your not interested in an electric dispenser.

Attractive. Quality finish. Flimsy faucet but functions well.
PROS: good ceramic glaze inside and out, sits flat on countertop with no wobble, plastic ring that water bottle sits on is properly thick, lid (when using without water carboy) fits nicely and the glazes match the dispenser, no leaks, faucet valve functions well.CONS: faucet valve feels flimsy, I expected heavier gauge materials.

DON’T BUY Spout Leaks after a few months of use DO NOT PURCHASE
Was very happy with this dispenser for a few months, I am now sitting and listening to it drip….. can’t find replacement spout, can’t return to Amazon. YOU CAN’T HAVE A WATER DISPENSER THAT LEAKS.
