Sterling Silver You are My Sunshine My only Sunshine Necklace (18" Chain Included)

I love this necklace. The pregnant is the size of dime as other buyers mentioned. The lettering were very clear and the smile face makes you smiley. The length is perfect as well. I was wearing for my trip to dc for 4 days and didnt take it out even while taking a shower. The color hasnt changed at all. Very happy with my purchase:DUpdate: It had been less than a week and the necklace was broken this morning. I havent pull the necklace!!! Sad. I asked Amazon for a replacement since this one is so cute (if not possible, refund)...

I cried when I received this. Why ? It was better than even pictured and had such meaning for me. I had a Most Adorable Baby Bird named Sunshine, a Sun Conure. I named her Sunshine due to her lovely Orange and Splashes of Green Feathers, Deep Dark Eyes and Ink Blue Under Belly Feathers. I reminisce about our short time together. She was 10 years old when she died. I came home from a church meeting and she was so happy to see me, just couldn't wait to get to me and flew and hit her head and landed on her back on the floor with a broken neck, as I held her in my hands begging her not to go, she did slip away in sleep. I loved that bird so so much. She was like a child to me and as much as I try to remember all the good about her in my life. I still cry often about my Sweet Bird that I miss so much. I use to sing the Sunshine Song to her along with many others, so precious to me that bird was and no other bird has or ever will be able to take her place. One thing I appreciated about this bird that I have to share was the way when I was sick, tumor removed and at other times in my life with her was the way she watched over me as I napped on the edge of the bed so she could see me or even in the lounge chair in front of her cage with a playtop. She would run up and down the ladder watching for me to get up or just to make sure I was alright and she would even wipe away my tears when she knew I was sad. But without her, there is no one to do those things and the emptiness is still there, but having this necklace helps me to have Sunshine with me anytime I feel the need for her. The necklace is more than just beautiful to me. Highly Recommended Necklace, especially for those times when we all need a Little Sunshine in our Heart Again.

This adorable pendant has an extremely nostalgic meaning for me. Not only does the Sunny Side make me smile whenever I look at it, the other side has the first two lines of the song my father sang to me when I was very young. He left when I was 7 (this was in 1962, and I never saw him again), but the memory of him singing "You are My Sunshine" to me is crystal clear.....just as if he had sung it yesterday! Very poignant and moving. I still would have purchased it, even if it had been priced at $100.00 (Or more). After all, how can you put a price on something so precious? Thank you, Amazon! You hit a Heart-felt home run with this one.Btw, both the pendant and chain are of very high quality, SO shiny, and the pendant is just ever-so-slightly smaller in diameter than a dime, and the engraving on the back is very easy to read. I cannot say enough how much I love this!

I bought this necklace as a gift for my teenage daughter. This is the song I used to sing her when she was little and couldn't sleep. The pendant is shiny and about the size of a dime or so. It is not cheap looking and the pictures do not do this chain and pendant justice. The cardboard thing that holds it is a tad on the cheap-ish side, so I plan to swap it out with a different necklace box we have around the house, but other than that I am completely satisfied with this and would purchase again!

I have purchased two of these necklaces one for my daughter and one for myself. They are very nice pieces. Real sterling silver. The medal is about the size of a dime and extremely well made. I am positive my daughter will love this as one of her birthday presents. My baby will be twelve in September. Never too old to wear a pretty piece of jewelry. Top side has a sunshine face, and the opposite side reads " You are my sunshine, my only sunshine". Perfect. Significant meaning . Especially to the millions of parents who have sang this song to their "sunshine"!

This is the perfect little necklace for my daughter (9 yo). She has "real" jewelry that she can wear to school without worrying if it will break or get lost. The cost of this piece makes it easily replaceable.

Nice necklace with extendable chain. Pretty. No problems. It was just smaller and thinner than I expected because I had another that looked just like it, but it turns out was bigger and thicker. I thought I was buying the same thing, but what was exactly the same was the design. This isn't a problem with the necklace, just with what I was expecting, so pay attention to the measurements.

I just received this necklace today. I bought it for my daughter to put in her Easter basket. I would sing this to her when she was little and it was always a song my mom sang, so it is very special. It is a very pretty necklace. The silver looks very shiny and not cheap at all. The chain seems dainty, although very pretty too. I may have to buy one for myself.
