Really good little box for streaming, good picture quality and ability to do many things via android. Don’t get the the 2gb ram one, go at least 4gb for stability and running stuff, keep it simple task wise and don’t overload it running multiple things at a time and it’ll do the job nicely! Great price. Works well. Just beware the hdmi cable is short (so not great if your tv is mounted with no shelf, as is the power lead. Also the remotes feel a bit cheap and don’t hold up to being abused too much, but simple fix is to by an air/bluetooth remote as box has usb plugs, also good investment as you’ll have a qwerty keyboard which makes life easier. You can’t go wrong with these for the price, have bought for friends too who have moved away from fire tv devices

I wasn't expecting much but it's a very impressive box. I'm not using it as an Android machine but alternatively installed CoreElec on to a microSD card and enabled "dual boot". The machine works flawlessly with no issues regarding video playback (4K UHD HDR 10Bit) & audio (DTS-HD XLL & Dolby TrueHD Atmos). There are no frame rate issues or audio dropouts. I initially bought this as a stop-gap until I found a better player but I'm so impressed it's now my main video player. It replaced an Odroid N2 that was initially excellent but failed after 18 months - at nearly half the price of the Odroid N2 I am very happy!The only issue I have a slight concern of is the temperature of the unit which can reach 60 degC - it's well noted that these Android boxes do not have good heatsinks inside but hopefully it will last a longer than the Odroid.

bluetooth doesn’t work, extreme pain in the ass to input text or navigate the menus

After purchasing and returning numerous set top boxes due to fake items, boxes which deny you any personal choice as to which apps you wish to use etc, I tried my luck with this one. At long last , after multiple disappointments, I have an android set top device that gives ME control over what apps I can use or download. As always, I downloaded an app called 'device info hw' This app will show you instantly if your device is genuine, or fake, plus all other hardware information about your device. Everything about this box is genuine and as claimed by seller.The device runs on android 9, which may be off-putting to some. However, it's well worth knowing that the higher up the android ladder you go, the less control you will have over your device.Device runs smoothly, it is snappy and fast. The home screen isn't my favourite, but that is of little consequence. Plus there may be a way to change this, but as of yet, I haven't even tried.In a nutshell, if you are looking for a genuine, user friendly device that lets YOU choose what apps and downloads you use, then THIS is the one.P.S I've just checked my purchase history on all outlets, and this is number 9! The rest were all returned for being FAKE, or having total control of what I can and can not do with the device.

The box its self is ok does what it says on the tin but..........it doesn't matter what it does good if the remote its self is absolute garbage. Press press press just for it to decide to accept the remote command. So frustrating because you press the command 2 or 3 times it will then kick you out of app your on back to home page because it cannot handle the multiple commands it stores up without reactions to them commands.Such a shame I even tryed an air remote and a keyboard remote there all the same response ( or should I say lack of response)You will be pulling your hair out with this box.Click on buy at your on risk

Got this for my arcade station and it works perfectly for EmuElec. WiFi and LAN work with no problems, Bluetooth is happy to connect to those low cost controllers like T3. It doesn't get hot after prolonged usage.I've tried anything to run EmuElec from USB and it didn't work, so if that's why you're buying then keep that in mind.I had no issue with the actual streaming part of it although if you wan to use Kodi (runs Kodi very well) to emulate then I was unable to get pads connected to the box without Emuelec running.Really happy with the box. Even the remote is decent in comparison to other models.
