Better than the OEM mount
I perform computer repairs and this CPU mount was purchased to replace a broken part. The fit was perfect and the problem solved immediately. The value for the money is excellent, since the repair cost less than a brand new system board. The sturdiness was better than the OEM one which broke. Color is basically irrelevant and you cannot see if once the CPU and Cooler are installed. The product functions just as well as the OEM part. Saved me from buying a new motherboard
For an inexpensive part I have no complaints. I have no desire to upgrade my old AM3 machine just yet and this part has allowed me to delay my upgrade a bit longer. Even if it only lasts one year it will have done its job. I would guess it will last at least 2 or 3 though as it is holding up a heavy heatsink. Install is okay as long as you can leave the screws from the previous mount in place to avoid having to access the back of the motherboard (unless you have a case with easy access to the back of your board)

Fits perfectly!
Ancient desktop but runs perfectly...except for a broken CPU cooler bracket. This bracket was a perfect replacement and was delivered quickly. Less than 10 minutes for installation and I was pushing the start button.
