So Far, Very Satisfied
We have been having some problems with our Sony TV, thinking it was a remote problem. So when I came across this one for less than the OEM version I figured I would take a chance on this one. It came only in bubble wrap, no batteries, and a single sheet of instructions. I installed two aaa batteries and pushed the ON button. The TV came on, just as it should. Tried most of the other functions and all worked as they should. Some of the lables are not as the OEM, but they are all in the same location so nothing new to learn. I guess what impresses me most is no programming was required. Install the batteries and go. Have no idea how long it will last, but for now, very satisfied, and saved a few bucks.

It Works - But you'll hear every click
Edit: lasted a week and a half before it succumbed to the children. Completely failed, no buttons work any longer. ------ It works for both Sony tv's in my house. It looks similar to my newer Sony than the old but works as a replacement for either this similar looking "thin" style or the "thicker" style of older generation Sony's. The voice search button doesn't work - it does nothing. Clicking any button on the center wheel produces an audible click noise. Not like an electronic one but the buttons themselves are noisy. I find it pretty annoying personally. The remote feels lightweight and cheap. I don't suspect it will last long with my two under-10 year old kids. Personally, I'd prefer one that feels a little more quality in my hand. I'm too cheap to buy OEM, so I will probably just stick with the "thick" style remotes for both tvs.
