Nature's Miracle Just for Cats Urine Destroyer Intense Urine Stain & Odor Remover, 32-Ounce Pour Bottle (P-5721)

I adopted two cats a couple of years ago. The younger cat has only ever had one accident, which cleaned up with regular carpet cleaner. However, the older one seemed to think for years that any kind of fabric it found on the floor was a suitable litterbox. Clothes, towels, pillows, and bags on the floor would CONSTANTLY get peed on. I've tried training the other humans in the house to pick up after themselves, but it took two of them moving out for the problem to slow down. In the span of two years, the old cat has peed freely all over the carpet in my shared room and in the hallway. I bought at least four odor and stain eliminators, none of which worked at all. They barely went down underneath the carpet, which I suspect, after the cat had peed multiple times in the same spot, is where the odor/urine crystals stayed. I did buy Nature's miracle the first time, but the cat still peed on the spot before it could dry and it never fully worked. I gave it another try this week -- I dumped as much as I could on the spots I knew he peed on (there was no stain, so it was pretty much guesswork) and let it dry. Keep in mind that these accidents are probably 6 months - 2 years old by now.The smell is GONE. I vacuumed the area, dumped this on, and let air dry EXCEPT where the spot was still accessible to the cat; this part, I had to let dry underneath a small rug intended to hide the stain, so that the cat could not pee on it again while it dried. I am no longer hit by the smell of cat urine upon entering the house (the door is downstairs and the cat had peed in the hallway UPSTAIRS; this is how strong the smell was). I don't smell any urine at all. I had bought a UV light to try to find out where the spots were, but either earlier attempts to clean the carpet cleared it on the carpet (but not the subfloor) or it plain didn't work, so it's a lot of guesswork. Anywhere I smell urine on the carpets, I dump enough Nature's Miracle on it that would be the equivalent of about two full cat bladders (because he often peed in the same spots).I rent a house and was absolutely worried that I'd have to pay to get the carpet torn up and replaced along with the padding and subfloor, but this has eliminated the urine smell fabulously. AND it's really inexpensive!

Spray the bejeezus out of the area the cats peed on. The smell is very pleasant, like when you open the washing machine just as the dryer sheets kick in. Product works very well for removing odor. Used on dark fabric so I cannot tell if there was much of a stain. Product does leave a lingering citrus smell.

I had some old urine odors lurking in a baseboard, as my cat had gotten into the habit of slowly standing up while peeing and hitting the wall behind him without me realizing. It was never much, but after a while it started to noticeably stain and smell. After trying many other things that weren't working, I purchased a bottle of Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer as a last resort (fully preparing myself for the possibility of having to replace my baseboard and linoleum). It has made all the difference!! Upon the first couple of applications, I noticed that the smell got slightly more intense ... but keep at it! After the rest of the applications, the smell completely disappeared. I didn't even end up using the whole bottle. The smell of the product itself isn't strong, so I was able to use as much of it as I needed per application to fully saturate the wall and baseboard.My cat now has a hooded litter box to prevent this from happening again ... but I'm still going to have a bottle of this handy from now on as a precaution. Very satisfied, and will definitely be buying another bottle if mine runs out!

Not just for cats! I have a young boy here that occasionally misses the toilet when he pees. I have started using this in the bathroom when I clean and have had great results. Also, I foster many cats and have had to clean up some of their messes. This cuts the smell out and they no longer have peed in that same spot. It really does take the scent away, even for the old Tomcats I have had here.
