Hat is large, but has drawstrings in the back to adjust. Photo is taken on a 10 week old baby of average size. It’s large on her, but it’s good because she can wear it for a long time. Does a great job of keeping the sun out of her eyes and off her face and neck.

We have three different hats for blocking the sun. This is the ONLY one that stays on our son's head. He's taken off the others rather easily. I think it's cause it has a very simple tightening string in the back that he cannot get to that allows us to ensure that it stays on. I love it. It shades his eyes, has UV protection, and is a light weight material... so it won't be too hot.Because he is outside at daycare a lot, this is the one we leave with him there. I know I will have to purchase a second one just to keep at home.

This hat is super lightweight but provides the best sun protection. It is light and airy enough that my 8 months old, who has a head full of hair, did not sweat while wearing this for hours in the sun. I bought him the 0-12 months and it fit him great. I love the adjustable draw strings on the back of the head and the chin so it provides a great fit. I KNOW this provides good sun protection because I forgot to put sunscreen on his neck, but he did not burn due to the neck flap! He didn’t mind wearing this at all and I truly believe it is because it is so light he may forget he has it on. I would definitely recommend!

Loooooove this hat for my 7 month old baby. It’s not stretchy so make sure you get the right size. I sized up based on other reviews and it fits my baby’s head perfectly - her head is in the 65th percentile for her age.Quality is great. I love that I can tighten around the head with the adjuster thing. It’s super lightweight. I used it while living in 110 degree weather over this summer. It stays on well.It reminds me of a nicer hat I used to have for my older child but it’s half the price.For parent shopping and comparing pricing and quality - look no further. The weather is getting hot recently. My son needs a UV ray sun protection hat when we are out in the park.This hat is just fit as expectation. Love it!

Fits perfect with room to grow

I bought this for my granddaughter. She's 16 months and it fits great. There's a little room to grow but there are two adjustable features....one for the circumference and another below the chin- so ideally it's like a custom fit! This is the perfect hat and provides great shade and sun protection. The little visor in the front flips up enough that when she's in the shade it allows more of her little face to show! 100 Recommended!

Bought hat for baby's first trip to the beach. Great fit - he was about 6 months at the time. It's also easily adjustable. Coverage was perfect which was the most important factor for me, and it can be used in the water. Also looked adorable on him! There was a bright red tag for the drawstring which I wasn't crazy about (and don't see in the images here), so I cut it off and just knotted the ends which worked fine.
