As Good as the Best!
We lived in Aix-en-Provence for 5 years, Europe for 10 years. We shopped at the open markets where olives were one of the specialty items. Returning to the USA, we satisfied our taste for kalamata olives and feta cheese by shopping at an authentic Greek market, which was an hour’s drive away. We know olives well. I now buy Attica Kalamatas and have them shipped to our home on Eleuthera, a far out island in the Bahamas. The effort and cost is well worth it! Attica Kalamatas are consistently as good as the best Kalamatas we’ve ever tasted. Hint: Never buy pitted olives even if you are just making tapenade.

Too salty
I have been buying these olives for a number of years. They have been consistently delicious until the ones that I bought in March 2021. They too salty to eat.

Not 7 lbs.
I have had alot of Kalamata olives over the last couple of years. I paid more for these than I usually do because it said that it was 7lbs. But that was with the liquid. It was the same 4.3 lbs as the others. So I got less olives than expected. Then once I opened them there was a large amount of olive oil floating on top of the olives. It made the olives hard to get to and slimy once I retrieved them. The olives are a medium quality and softer than others I have bought.

The other reviews were right - great tasting olives, not as salty as others
Great tasting olives, not as salty as others. The wine vinegar and olive oil make it taste more authentic than the brined olives I usually find in the US market.Since I plan on eating these as hors de vours (yes, devours as the activity) dropping the pits onto a tray make me feel just a little Greek. Will I buy these again? Yes, but let me finish this tray first.

) amazing! These are the real deal
OMG(osh!) amazing! These are the real deal! The brine is a salty mix of red wine vinegar and olive oil, very authentic. Real olives are whole and contain pits, which help to keep them firm. These a beautiful purple color and taste fantastic. At 7 pounds, there are definitely enough to share. I'll be freezing most of this jar and be in Kalamata nirvana for years. Don't worry that these do not read non-GMO on the label, because Europe has outlawed GMO crops, unlike the United States. These are a definite buy, you can't go wrong.

Response was fast and received what I expected to receive ...
Response was fast and received what I expected to receive. A little unfortunate story however goes with it. A couple of days after receiving the package and taking the plastic jar out, I placed it on the floor and then sadly stepped on it in the dark and spilt a batch of the liquid and ~2 lb of olives over the carpet. Lol ...... messy me, lesson learned: don't place plastic containers of foodstuffs on the floor in the dark.

Excellent traditional Kalamata black olives
Traditional black olives are less and less available in grocery stores due to "US industrial food trends", everything got pitted. To me, without pits, these do not deserve to be even called black olives. Attica Whole Kalamata Olives sold by Amazon are of excellent quality and the price is fair.

Not too salty
Delicious and not too salty. Have pits. I don't refrigerate large containers of olives. It seems unnecessary. If a white "scum" develops, not to worry. It's natural and not toxic. Ask Dr Google!
