Weleda Nourishing Body Lotion

This lotion is so moisturizing and great value. Smells fresh. If you are dry skin this would be a great purchase. I love that it doesn’t take forever to rub in. It just melts into your skin. It’s lightweight and does not feel greasy.

Purchased after reading an article that Victoria Beckham uses this as her body lotion. Despite I never fall for celebrity, type recommendations, etc., desperate to find a solution for my mature and somewhat crepy skin. I thought I’d give it a try. Lotion has a nice consistency, not too thick or too thin. It does have an initial eucalyptus type smell, which may offend some, but The lotion quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving no greasy feel behind, and the smell disappears along with the absorption. I called this miracle in bottle even after the first use, there was a noticeable improvement in my skin elasticity and softness. The stuff outshines any product I’ve ever tried, and I would highly recommend it for those suffering from dry to very dry skin. It is a little bit pricey, considering the size of the product package, but well worth it in my opinion.

We love with Lida products in general but the skin food items in particular are essential in our home. We have long winters here and our skin gets quite dry from the indoor fires. We literally keep this bottle of moisturizer on the coffee table. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly. The application is quite easy with the fliptop. There is no skin irritation, and it seems to be compatible on anyone’s skin.

I wanted to find a non-toxic lotion that would work for my skin. This lotion is the one - it takes less volume to do the job (in my opinion) also. The smell is surprising at first, almost medicinal, but it is not unpleasant and certainly grew on me. I had only used it on smaller sections (just calves or just upper arms)... until last night. I always considered the feeling immediately after applying (which wasn't unpleasant and is a bit hard to explain -- perhaps like there was a component that didn't absorb). Last night I put this lotion on my face, full arms, and full legs, and the result is the reason for finally reviewing the product. Allowing this lotion to do it's job overnight changed the game! Today, my skin is so soft and hydrated that it guarantees my continued use and I don't feel that any product lingered on my skin.

I've been a fan of Weleda's Skin Food line for a while, especially for those times when my skin is screaming for moisture. The original Skin Food is a cult classic, but let's be honest, it can be a bit of a task to apply all over the body. So, I was excited to try the Skin Food Body Lotion, which promises the same nourishing goodness in a more spreadable format. And for the most part, it delivers! However, there's one thing that holds this back from a full 5-star rating for me: the scent. While many people seem to enjoy Weleda's signature herbal fragrance, I find it a bit overpowering. It's not unpleasant, exactly, but it lingers for quite a while, which can be a bit much if you're sensitive to smells or prefer to use other scented products. Overall, Weleda Skin Food Body Lotion is a very good moisturizer, particularly if you have dry skin and appreciate natural ingredients. If the scent doesn't bother you, it's definitely worth checking out.

I like the lotion. It has a clean smell. I ordered it several times as a gift, and everyone was satisfied. Weleda is a very good brand.

Its the perfect weight. Some lotions and creams are so light that they seem to do nothing. This is livht but feels very moisturizing. I really love it but need to buy it when its on sale. There are certainly MORE expensive options out there. I really love Weleda.

These ingredients are very good, but I don’t see much of a difference in my skin. It’s too expensive for me these days.

Tutta la line skin food é eccezionale, per pelli secche e sensibili, ma anche per dare un pò di protezione in più con l'arrivo del freddo. Ricca e voluttuosa, profumo delicato e gradevolissimo, un ottima alternativa un pò più leggera e versatile del burro,ma ugualmente efficace.

Es ist Weleda, was soll man sagen: Perfekt! Diese Bodylotion ist mittel-flüssig. Zieht dennoch schnell ein und hinterlässt ein sehr schönes Hautgefühl. Meine Haut ist sehr dankbar. Schon nach zwei Anwendungen war meine gebeutelte Haut schon wieder viel geschmeidiger. Nach 2 Wochen wieder sanft und zart. Weleda ist einfach die perfekte Hautpflege, zumindest für mich!
