Gets the job done

Ordered these to pulley 30lb broad breasted white turkeys up the killing tree to eviscerate more easily. The small size is economical but they function well. These were all I needed, as they hold over 100lb each.

easy to use for raising things in my shed

I used these to fix an amateur radio 12 guage wire antenna up in trees. A day after I raised it, we had an ice storm & limbs fell on my wire antenna. The wire broke, the blocks were fine. I spliced the wire & 2 days later, raised it again. So far so good. I ran 550 cord through the blocks. The first time the cord was tied to the base of each tree to maintain tension. This time instead of tying the line, I fixed weight (broken limbs) to the line en lieu of tying it tight. Hopefully this will allow movement & prevent another break, which should also help with the small sized blocks

5.99 for the one on the left from lowes. This might be good for Children or play time. But lowes has cheaper ones as well. Not worth the money at all if you want to pick up something that weighs more than a packet of Ketchup. This is how Amazon is scamming people, it's literally products like this. Very poorly made and low quality steel. Would never recommend for any load bearing application.
