It’s too dark for use by itself….I love it for its safe sunscreen properties. So I use it this way: 1/3 AVENE drops in my hand and mix with 2/3 L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Acid Serum. It hydrates and damps down the darkness of AVENE alone. Perfection!

I have a golden brown skin tone, and I love the way this tinted sunscreen goes on, not thick or greasy, it's lightweight, and stays on even after being in the water. It has a lovely golden tone that highlights my skin color and makes it look great!

I read a review that this product rubbed in well to your skin plus it blend's. That’s laughable..This sunscreen is extremely runny.If you have dark skin, and like running sunscreen, you’ll love this. This is not tacky, nice and smooth on my skin. No scent.

It’s a great sunscreen for brown skin people. As you can see, I’m not light and it rubs smoothly on my face, makes it look like I have makeup on. Shake the product first, shake it well and then apply to your face. Rub it in until it matches your skin/slightly matched your skin. The tint will eventually settle in and match to your tone. All the other reviews about the sunscreen coming out different colors is because they didn’t shake it as it says on the bottle before application 🤦🏾‍♀️

As far as I can tell, this is a reformulation of another product I used to get regularly. This new formulation is totally different though. It’s really thin and slippery, almost like just tiny drops. I definitely wouldn’t put this all over my face because it’s REALLY heavily pigmented, and not a tone that would look good on me full strength - too red - but the was I use it is mixed with my main sunscreen, with a drop of highlighter, so it makes a slightly shimmery tinted sunscreen, and it works fine for that.Tbh I miss the old formula, which was more creamy & substantial, but this is totally fine. Not something I would consider a holy grail product anymore but it’s working fine for what I need it for so, okay.

This sunscreen is super light, and my skin looks amazing... the advantage of using dermatological products. The only downside is that you need to shake it for ~30 seconds not to get a dark pigment. If your skin tone is light or medium light, you probably need to rub the sunscreen longer and apply BB cream in a softer tone. It is worth it since my skin looks fantastic and I don't need to wear anything else.

Suggested by 2 different dermatologists for melasma issues and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (PIH). This apparently protects from blue light which is natural light and computer light. I was quite shocked to find out the phones and pc lights and natural outside light made these skin issues worse.It leaves a shiny color which I like because I use tretinoin (Retin-A) which tends to dry the skin. If you like the drier look then use facial powder .Not sure why people give negative reviews saying it is too dark when in the advertising it say FOR MEDIUM TO DARK SKIN TONE. This is perfect. I am buying another one to keep in my car.

It blends well with my skin and no sticky residue after application. I will keep this as my maintenance sunblock together with my favorite Colorescience Sunblock.
