JapanBargain S2723, White Porcelain Sake Carafe Bottle, 4-oz

The White Porcelain Sake Carafe Bottle is a poor choice for anyone who likes to warm their sake with a heating plate. I don't like to microwave my sake, and warming the serving bottle in a pot of water is tedious. This leaves the heat plate. Unfortunately this serving bottle has a recessed bottom. I don't mean just a little. The bottle has a EXTREMELY convex surface for a bottom. This means that when trying to use a heating plate so little of the bottle makes contact that it takes hours to heat it.

this is the pure white inside and outside, not blue strip at all.

They both have cracks down the side. Hard to tell until I painted them with alcohol inks and the inks settles into the micro cracks and looked bad

Seems like a product I’ll have around for a while.

Works as I expected. I use it in the microwave to heat up the sake, 45 - 50 seconds does it for me.
