Kingsyard Squirrel Proof Hanging Bird Feeder for Outdoors

This is AMAZING! looks just like the picture blends nicely with the outdoors, squirrels have not been able to get into it, rain out of it too, great value, refilling is easy and I am thrilled!!!! It seems to be fort knox of seeds for the squirrels so far!

The Kingsyard Blue Bird House is a very exceptional Birdhouse. I was impressed with the quality of the birdhouse since the price was so affordable. It will definitely last many years. It has plenty of room on the inside for the baby birds and is well-ventilated. The New Zealand Pine is beautiful, and the roof and predator guard are painted either blue or green. I chose the green and it is gorgeous. It took only minutes to install on our wooden post and although we will probably not see any activity this year, I am confident that the Bluebirds will definitely use it. My hopes are that they will use the house on cold winter nights. My husband did increase the size of the hole. Our Bluebirds and Carolina Wrens prefer a 1 and 3/4 diameter hole, which was no problem. The Birdhouse was an excellent choice. My backyard is even more Beautiful, now.

It is so cute! Appears to be well made- sturdy wood - love the blue roof and the viewing panel. We will put it up on a pole this week- I don’t think the bluebirds can resist!

Update 29 April 2024: 🐦 are here and seem to like the house. My older cedar bb house finally got to the point were it would not be suitable anymore. Being that I had bbs there for the past 15+ years, I'd like them to keep coming back. I chose this house to replace it. Good: - Well made and sturdy - Attractive looking - Plexiglass inside so you can peek from time to time. - Some built in protection from predators (our black snakes are an issue here) The Bad: - Made from pine. Pine doesn't weather well and won't last. I knew this before buying and put a coat of oil based poly on all outside surfaces and let it defume a few days before placing it outside. Will update the stars if I see the bb nesting again.

This was the most expensive of the 2 Kingsland feeders. I also bought the less expensive one, and find it better. It's easier to fill and and it seems to be easier for the birds to feed from

La peinture du toit s effrite en quelques mois je l’ai repeint en gris anthracite ça me plaît bcp plus que le vert criard d’origine En espérant que mon avis vous soit utile

I don't have a squirrel problem - for me it's rats that get into my bird feeders and empty them before the birds even get a chance. I even found one curled up asleep in my previous 'squirrel proof' feeder once. I decided to give this feeder a try and have found it to be excellent so far. It is really solidly made out of metal, with a plastic inner cylinder to hold the feed, and feels like it's built to last. The 'anti squirrel' system is simple but effective - the feed cylinder is sat against a spring, so when excess weight is exerted on the perch (i.e a squirrel or rat rather than a bird) it slides down and prevents access to the food. As soon as the vermin leaves, it returns to its original position and birds can use it again. Very clever. To date, I haven't actually observed a rat or squirrel being thwarted by the mechanism. But, I have noticed the feed disappearing more slowly than usual, so that would suggest to me that no unwanted visitors are gaining access. After being in place for a few weeks, the feeder still looks great and I'm sure it's going to continue to work well for a long time to come. This is more expensive than others on the market, but I've been stung by cheaper options before, which go brittle, rusty, or just don't protect against unwanted intruders. So far this seems to be ticking all the boxes and working exactly as stated, so I'm really pleased with it.

This seems decent but was damaged when it was delivered. Also, the viewing glass is loose and falls put eaily, so I'm not sure how well this will actually work.

Très contente de mon achat x 3 beaux nichoirs de bonne qualité , s'ouvrant sur le coté pour nettoyer les nids. enfin le Best. très jolie et pratique j'attends maintenant que les oiseaux en profitent pour leur futurs amours et bébés. Je la recommande très sérieusement
