Bulky but it produces
We use several off these units on our four in-house 200gallon coral tanks. The tanks are ultra low nutrient at 0-5ppm nitrates. Given that these skimmers still pull out a ton of crap on a weekly basis, more than you'd ever expect. They are easy to adjust and the cups are easy to clean...to clean the whole body/pump tho you'd have to pull the unit out of the sump which could be an issue in tight spaces if you don't plan for that.Overall it's a good to great skimmer if you aren't looking for something small, sexy and expensive. No matter the cost we wouldn't risk our livestock on a lousy skimmer...but we didn't need to spend an additional $150/unit for something that no one is going to look at. Our wow factor is in the tanks not underneath them...altho as we clean the cups every 4th day there is the stinky wow factor of just how much crap can be produced even in a ULN system.This could be the skimmer for you if you don't have a ton of cash but have the space.
