Pretty good Mop. It does the job and it doesn't cost much. Feels cheaply made but I can't complain considering the cost.

I received the mop in a box about the same height as the mop but the box was bent to a 45 degree angle. Appears to have been crushed during transit. After removing the mop, it too was 45 degree angle. Attempted to bend the metal mop stick back to it's original form, but due to it's hollow construction of about a 1mm thick cheap aluminum construction, the metal was not pliable enough and snapped in half. Was going to start a return but chose not to due to low cost of product and the inconvenience of returning it.

The advantage of a no-frills rinse and wring mop is that *actually transfer of dirt from floor to mop water occurs*, as opposed to "pad" mops like swiffs and e-cloth, that build up a concentration of dirt the entire over their entire use. Pad mops can be washed, but not typical during use. This cotton deck mop requires constant wringing, which is a work-out, and the mop water needs to be of enough volume to subsume the dirt or you must dump and refill your mop water several times when cleaning more than one 12 x 20 room. However, it is absorbent, so, even damp, it picks up dirt easily, so if you need a "deep" clean, this mop is very good. Because it is cotton, it takes longer to dry and must be rinsed thoroughly to eliminate build-up of odors, as in 3-4 separate rinse and wrings.This mop does not have looped strands and no stitching to control the shape of the mop in use.

This is a simple, straight-forward product which works very well. I bought it with a Rubbermaid Commercial HDPE Pail and Mop Strainer, and it was the perfect complement to the bucket. I highly recommend this for home use.

I prefer to use an old fashion mop. This mop fits that need, but the mop potion needs to be a bit longer for easy rinsing.
