I recommend this book to everyone, it's very easy to read and very very interesting. If you're someone that cares about the life in the oceans you'll love it, but if that's not the case, I think you will like it too since it makes you realize of a lot of things.

Nicely written and sobering content on man's effect on the ocean and the animal kingdom since 1960s. The message from the book gives hope for slowing the extinction of many marine mammal, fish, shellfish species and creating protected marine areas. However, time is running out and unfortunately the world's political climate is not supporting change in how we treat the ocean.
