Update! - It's falling apart!
Update! - Few nights ago I heard what sounded like a gunshot from under my desk. Loud enough to make me fall backwards and jump back. I couldn't figure out what made this noise after checking everything. Well it happened again this morning and I saw it happen. The loud POP! is actually the desk breaking itself apart. (See photos.) On the bottom side of the top, they have routed channels, and the desk is splitting at these points. I'm past my return window on Amazon so we'll see what Simpli has to say but I have the feeling I'm out of luck per the verbage on their website. Unfortunately I'm just going to have to fill these voids and try to color match. There's no excessive weight on the top either, (monitor, speakers, kb and mouse.)I've noticed that my matching shelves are starting to warp as well so we'll see how long before those split also. Changing my review to 2 stars only because the design is nice and instructions were clear but I've only had these assembled for a couple months. They should last longer than that, even in dry weather.

Down with laminate! Long live solid wood! (Edit: shelf issue)
EDIT 1/15/22: I am taking off a star because the keyboard shelf has started to sag on the right side, leaving a very noticeable gap between the top surface and the shelves. This lower part of the desk is held in to the tablestop by wood screws, and I guess by being right-handed, using the mouse has over time loosened the screws on that side and caused the sagging. I just checked underneath and the screw that is closest to where you'd sit is actually missing - that might have been my oversight when assembling, but it's more likely the screw fell out after a number of months of regular mouse use. I have tried to replace it with a variety of screws of different sizes, and nothing will fit and hold correctly except longer screws that will just go right through the tabletop. This aspect of the assembly leaves a lot to be desired, if you're like me and use that keyboard shelf for its intended purpose. If you put your keyboard and mouse on the top, though, you should be fine.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I echo the sentiments of the other reviewers - this is one of the best computer desks I've found anywhere. The acacia wood is gorgeous and the black metal frame is the perfect match. And it's not just all looks - it's a functional desk too, with its two side drawers, retractable keyboard tray, and the support bars in the back that you can use for cable management (though you can't really see it in my photos, I have 9 cables velcro tied around one of the bars, keeping them hidden all the way to the floor where the bottom crossbeam hides them the rest of the way. Just have two final cables to hide for that final clean look). BTW, the keyboard tray was one of the main selling points for me - most other wood & metal desks you find lack this feature, which is fine for those who like to type directly on their desk surface, but I prefer to have the tray. It is a little bit tight inside, to where my keyboard has to rest on top of the edge of the mouse pad, but it gets the job done and the clean look when it's pushed back in and closed up is well worth it.For the price of this Erina desk, you're not likely to find anything else of equal quality. Trust me, I spent days trying, as I'm sure many of you have. One of the top competitors for me was the Bush Series A desk, but in the end the beauty and durability of solid wood (as opposed to Bush's particle board & laminate), the industrial design, and the built-in keyboard tray won me over. I'm glad I spent the extra money because I have a piece of furniture that will last forever and will look great doing it.

Great looking desk but has assembly problems
I bought this desk for my home office. The box arrived last week and it is really heavy and packed well. I loved the look of the desktop as I arranged everything to get ready for assembling it. Pretty easy to do with this design as there aren't too many steps. However, once I tried to screw in the legs, the threads in the frame just spin so you can never actually tighten them. I included a photo of a good thread which sits tight on the frame, and one of the loose ones.Update #1: Company has said they are getting replacement parts to me. It has been about a week since I started the replacement process. In total, 5 out of 8 of the threads were loose in the frame. There is no way to work around this because there is no way to get the thread tight if it isn't seated in the frame tightly (it will just spin the more you try to tighten it). So I contacted customer service asking for replacement legs (you can't take the threads out of the legs, they come with them attached on there).I gave them all the info with order numbers and photos and parts numbers, etc. And I am still waiting to hear back and it's been over three days now. Now I have desk parts all over my office as I wait for a reply. I will update this review as things progress...

Missing 2 level adjusting feed
Seemingly solid desk, more because of the metal framing, wood is thinner than I thought it would be. If you've assembled furniture, not really complicated. Mine came missing 2 of the level adjusting feet, one side piece had both, the other side piece had none. Unfortunately extra hardware included does not include extra levellers. It's weekend, left message for company. Will see how they respond. Will need time to see how it holds up. Bought mostly for modern design. Seems a bit pricey for what you actually get, but we'll see how it works out.

Real Wood, Easy to Assemble
This desk is, perhaps a bit more expensive than it should be, but I love the fact that it is real wood. The wood is beautiful, but perhaps a bit light. The desk was VERY easy to assemble and looks really great in my industrial loft. I also live the fact that they have a 72" version that has plenty of room for my computer and printer and a few lamps. There is plenty of drawer space and the center keyboard tray has a latch that will allow it to serve as a normal drawer, which is a nice touch. My only real complaint is the packaging for this product is very excessive. I took four bags full of styrofoam to the trash after assembling it. I suppose when shipping something like this, it's better to be safe than sorry, but I would have liked a more environmentally friendly package.

Solid Investment
This solid wood top and drawers give this desk a lot of heft which reminds me of hand-crafted furniture rather than typical mass production so common these days from other brands. The wood grain combined with the finish makes the desk something you will be proud to own and use daily. I bought it to use as a computer desk after countless hours, days, and weeks searching through a barrage of the usual suspects seen too many times on YouTube. Strangely, nobody seems to have created a home office desk setup video featuring the AXCERN-14 Erina Desk. While pricier than the Chinese manufactured desks, the quality and solidness of this desk allow it to standout from the crowd. It will last decades not mere years.
