it might not work as unfinished floor/concrete will not give you a smooth surface to stick and uniform look. also it can easily tear.

Q: Can I use this as kitchen backsplash? and what heavy duty glue should I use for extra hold under the trim of my laminate countertop?

This will work on your backsplash. You will want to use a bead of chalk, or adhesive (Liquid Nails) along the inside corner of the counter and backsplash to help keep them tight in the corner. If the underside of your counter is that rough particle board, you will want to use Liquid Nails or something like that. If the underside is smooth, you shouldn't need any adhesive.

Q: I have tile counter tops and backsplash with grout lines. Is this thick enough to use over the grout lines?

Not really. This material conforms to the surface of the counter. It will hide minor imperfections but grout lines will show for sure.

Q: When you receive the item, does it really measures 144 x 36 like what is says above?

I have not unrolled the package but it does measure 36" on the tube and someone annotated in ballpoint, outside label, 12', so I believe it will go the 144". The prev roll, a lighter color material, was as we thought. So it all looks right to me, at this point.
