Kala Brand Music Co., 0-String Ukulele, Mahogany Stain (US-MHG-Foam)

It’s super portable, super easy. It works well enough for my Synergy Uke (harp ukulele) by Emerald Guitars. Now I don’t have to lay the thing down all over the house as I move from room to room playing. The stand is not super sturdy - a light bump to the instrument while on the stand might topple it, but if you’re handy, you’ll figure out a fix for that (by adding a square base, for example, with some light carpentry). But I doubt that’s necessary. And anyway, the stand as it is beats the heck out of laying your uke down. I like the stand very much, and I think it would also make a great gift for the uke player in your life.

This is a beautiful Mahogany veneer ukulele stand that fits my Lanakai SMP-TCA (solid Monkey Pod Tenor Cutaway) perfectly. This tenor ukulele as well as my Oscar Schmidt OU4 are a perfect fit as far as body depth go. A travel ukulele would fit at as well.The stand comes as two separate pieces and slide together like a beautiful little piece of art. The stand a beautiful ukulele compliment each other. The stand is light but sturdy and the contact edges (where the uke sits) are lined with a thin foam type of material. This provides some protection for the finish of your instrument.I really love the look of this stand. Had it been in solid mahogany (I am sure they exist, but not here on Amazon), I would have tried that one instead. Really a beautiful concept which could be made even more beautiful with solid wood. I know if the stand was solid wood, this price point could not be achieved.For what it is and how beautiful it looks .... 5 stars.

This little stand is big on function, style and value. The sturdy interlocking wooden pieces create an excellent cradle to safely hold my ukulele when it is not stored in its case, and look like a piece of sculptural art when left on a table top (or the floor!). The Kala Mahogany Ukulele Stand Out is a great value and a perfect choice.

This is nice to keep always set up in the house. I wouldn't to carry this stand around in a case or gig bag. There are smaller folding stands for that.

I've always used metal and rubber stands for my ukes. The simple design is genius. I love the fact that when I set my Kanilea uke on this stand, the stand pretty much disappears. Very happy with this purchase!!

Great product, nice feel, easy to assemble/disassemble. It takes very little space when disassembled and stored away. Looks classy for my both my baritone kala uke and my tenor uke. My only gripe with it is that over time, the corner of the uke pressed indentations into the foam. The foam is still cushioning the uke but over time, I fear that the foam will degrade from compression and friction such that the uke will be sitting pretty much directly on the wood.

When I perform occasionally, I bring 2 ukuleles, so I needed a stand for one I'm not using. The design is very attractive, it can be carried flat and takes all of a couple of seconds to assemble the two pieces. Although it is lightweight, it feels sturdy holding my tenor instruments. My only complaint is with the soft material that cradles your instrument to prevent scratches. At one end it arrived with one end of the material lifted from the wood. Not a big deal as a little glue solved the problem, but enough to lose one star.

this is a great uke stand. the two pieces slot together smoothly and it forms a nice solid support. the color of the wood closely matches my solid koa martin concert uke, despite being different woods, which is an added plus. the curved lower arms that cradle the base of the uke are lined with a thin rubber-like material that is soft and protects against scratching. It takes about 14 inches of space, from front to back, so will not fit in a bookshelf, but I have it on a small table and it both looks and fits great. I think it is wonderful, and would get another should i ever need another ukulele

Lovely wood that matches Kala mahogany uke. Looks great in our livingroom.Stands proud, firmly. (I wish there was something to hold the strap)The foam edge lifts up, but you can glue that down again, if it does.

As soon as this arrived, I put it together and put one of my ukuleles in the stand. It holds the ukulele perfectly.
