Kimono Gowns - Signature Prints

I have 6 of these gowns in the newborn size and 8 of them in the 0-6 month (now also listed as 3-6 month size). I'm not normally one to write product reviews, but this is such a wonderful gown that I want others to know what an excellent product it is. The fabric is soft and washes wonderfully --- they do not pill or become hard or stiff after multiple washes. The prints are lovely. (My only request on the prints is that Parage Organics use more bright whites rather than the nude/ivory color (personal preference) and that more prints and colors were available.) The gown is long --- it is supposed to be. When the baby is on his back sleeping the gown extends past his kicking feet so that the gown doesn't ride up to expose his legs. (Warm baby without cold drafts = happy, sleeping baby!) The sleeves are long --- they are supposed to be. When you turn the mits over (so that the baby doesn't scratch is face, but, IMO more importantly, to keep the baby's hands warm at night) the hands and arms aren't restricted in movement by the sleeves being too tight or too short. The Newborn size fit my son (who is at the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight) until he was 12 weeks old. We moved him up to the 3-6 month size after 12 weeks because we wanted the longer length, not because the Newborn size didn't fit. The Newborn size still had room for him to grow in weight. If you plan on using the gowns for more than one child or, even if you don't, if you are a fan of extremely quality products that are healthy for baby, these are the gowns for you! My baby wears this (or something very close to it if it’s dirty) every single night. It’s great! I’ve already bought the next size up for when he outgrows it. He likes to rub his face so the mitten cuffs option is a must for us. It’s super easy for middle of the night diaper changes, just pull the bottom up, no zipping or snapping or tying. It’s lightweight but a tight woven knit so he stays comfortable with just this, a pair of socks and a muslin sleepsack on in our, at most, 71 degree room. Love this garment!

Bought this as a gift - this style of pjs was my absolute FAVORITE when my baby was small. It is cozy, so soft, and sooooooo helpful for late night diaper changes. Seriously - the best! Plus when your baby is like mine and hates things being pulled over his big ole head, the front snaps are the perfect way to get him dressed ;-)The sizing was as expected - maybe a tiny bit on the small size? But I am also in the world of a toddler so I think all baby clothes look small (was he ever really that little???). I bought it to be used in the first few months of life - which it looks like it will be perfect for. If you want something that will last more than the first month or two, then size up - but the baby will likely be swimming in it until they are about 6 weeks old. They grow so fast in those first few weeks so it is hard to get something that lasts more than a month any way!PS LOVE the dots!! So stylish!

After having our first child we quickly recognized that snap down clothes are a lifesaver, because trying to put something over our babies legs, or head, was just a nightmare. These pajama kimono outfits are aaaaaamazing. I’m bummed they’re so pricey, because I would buy one in every color! The material is thick, so our kid can just wear a diaper underneath in winter, the prints are vibrant and clear, and the newborn size is really long, so it’s wearable, but will also be big enough for months to come! I would recommend washing them before first wear, I put them on her right out of the package and she developed a rash on her shoulders. However, it hasn’t happened since we washed them, so we’re good to go! Love these!

Super disappointed in this product. The reviews were promising and I really looked forward to giving this as a gift. Before opening the package I could already smell the strong plastic smell and it only got stronger after opening. The material is not near as soft or of a high quality material that I was expecting. The gown will be returned and will be replaced with a brand I have used before. Seriously, that smell was so strong. There’s no way I’d give this as a gift.

This item was exactly as expected. Regular fit, nice cotton type fabric etc. My only suggestion would be to make it a few extra inches longer. The size is perfect for my baby who is now 6 weeks old. We've been wearing this since he came home from the hospital (weight 7lbs) & it still fits him and his long legs, but keep reading to find out why I recommend they make them longer.I love these gowns b/c you can easily check his diaper and change him w/out messing with clothes. What I've recently realized (after purchasing about 10 different gowns from various brands) is that it's nice when these gowns are a little extra long bc then he doesn't lift it as much with his feet when he wiggles around. Especially in the winter months it can make his legs cold so a little extra length is good for keeping him snug inside.I bought a few gowns from another company and let them sit in the drawer b/c they looked too big. Finally after a couple weeks, I decided to give them a try and I realized why they were made extra long. It really helps to keep their legs inside the outfit.

Purchased this because my newborn screams every time you put something over her head so figured this should make dressing her easier. My husband and I love it!! Will probably be purchasing more. It’s super convenient for diaper changes. Great quality, nice soft/thick fabric so I know she is warm enough. Has the built in hand mittens so she won’t scratch herself. Sizing is good. Purchased a 0-3 and 3-6 month. My 9lb 3 week old fits perfectly in the 0-3 with some room to grow. Would definitely recommend these gowns!

I don't understand all the good reviews. I ordered two of these for my newborn, but they both smelled so strongly of chemicals. I don't think it would go away after washing them and I would never dress my baby in them. It is a shame since I purposefully paid extra for an organic product thinking the material would be well suited for newborns' sensitive skin. I am returning this product.PS. The Dark Green Waves color/pattern smelled stronger than the Grey Sheep

Every mom needs these!! This is my 3rd one. These ones are better than every other brand because of the snaps - sooo much easier to get on baby as opposed to no snaps. Sleeper gowns make nighttime changing so easy, sometimes my baby doesn’t even wake up. I wish I had these for my 1st. Another bonus is the 3-6 month size also have the hand covers where other brands only have them on newborn sizes. My son scratches his face like crazy during witching hour so these prevent him from doing that. 10/10 highly recommend!

I am a proud Canadian and am happy to support a Canadian Company. The line of clothing from Parade Organics is outstanding and the design of this gown is brilliant. I am so happy to have discovered Parade Organics and have ordered more goods directly from their web site. The fabric is cozy and soft and there are many patterns available. I feel that these gowns will be very useful and comfortable for the baby, and practical for the new mother.

So I ordered this but got a blanket instead which is nice because its a really nice quality blanket. I contacted the company and they sent what I did order right away and were great about it.So.. 3 stars because although the onsie is super cute and soft and well made, the inner edge where the buttons go isnt finished, which is annoying because its in the way when I'm trying to dress my little babe and the material is in the way.So it depends on whats important to you. The material is definitely beautiful but the product I recieved wasn't finished. The company is great to deal with but sent the wrong item first ...I would probably buy something again.

I had received one of these as a gift (the 0-3 size) and loved it! So nice at night when changing his bum that I can just pull it up while he’s sleeping or undo a few of the snaps without having to really disturb him. I use these as Pjs, much better than other sleep gowns because of the snaps! Also love having the snaps when we have a poopolsion 💩 I also really like the mitten sleeves, little guy still scratches his face sometimes and these have helped:)
