Blackstar IDCORE100 Guitar Amp, 2X10", 100W

I would have given this amp a 5 star rating but had an issue with the power switch. The amp would not turn on 3 out of 5 times you went to turn it on. BUT with Amazons return policy I had a replacement in two days. Now to the amp. I love this amp and it's features. The reverb and delays are very good and a lot of selections to choose from. The amp controls look and feel like a standard combo amp and have a vintage amp vibe. The clean channels are able to get close to any amp I need to emulate. The gain channels will get you from mild to wild if need be. The ability to use the USB to work the amp from your computer is pretty cool but not necessary so you old school guys can work it(just read the manual). I have been playing for 35+ years(so you know I have some age on me) and I find the fact that this amp weights next to nothing and can get loud makes this a good choice for the gigging guitarist.

I bought this to use as the stereo effects channels in a wet/dry/wet setup with a Vox AC amp. I wasn't expecting to like it so much, this is a great value. Every time I hear the stereo effects I end up looking around the room trying to figure out how the sound is coming from everywhere. The clean channels sound great and respond well to the ISF knob. The crunch and OD presets are pretty gain heavy but they sound great. If you like a milder crunch the amp responds well to transparent overdrives. Like most modeling amps you have to get used to the fact that the knob positions don't necessarily correspond to the actual setting after you select a saved preset.

This amp is sick. I play rock, blues, metal, slide, 7-string, with and without pedals. The loop is fun as hell for a couple hours at a time. This is my first blackstar. I've had way more fun with it than I did my first Marshall years ago.

I love this amp unlimited tones for recording​ and jamming with backing tracks. Definitely loud enough for a garage band/ small clubs. Software can be a little buggie At times, other than that it's great

This amp has a lot of nice features and can get seriously LOUUUUD!!! Weight of it is not bad considering the sound that this thing can push.

Great buy! No problems with it what so ever since I have had it, so awesome when you can find a amp that has great settings and options as well as a heavy distortion without the need of a pedal.5 stars Blackstar!!

A great amp with Uber versatility. Great sounding effects due to dual speaker. Sounds great. Good for studio, plenty of power and volume for live gigs.

Hola,Pues decir que tengo un Blackstar Core ID 10 que es una maravilla, pero le falta profundidad en graves, logico, tiene conos de 3,5, me decidí a comprar este Core id 100 y la verdad es que me ha decepcionado bastante, es chillon y aparte de la diferencia de potencia con el core10 este ultimo suena mucho mejor, también lo compare con un fender mustang gt40 y le da 40 vueltas y por ultimo con un line 6 spider y tampoco se acerca a ese sonido contundente de estos amplisTotal lo he devuelto, no me gusta

Excellent pour le prix ! Assez fort pour jouer en band. La disto pourrait sonner un peu mieux, je recommande de passer par la disto d'une pédale quelconque à part. Son clean très chaud.

i really like the effects but i find the amp sounds are a little artificial sounding. this amp reacts different to different guitars. its a good all around practice amp but i probably wouldnt gig with it.
