The only reason i took a star off is that in most kilts the staps and buckles give you room for adjustment an inch or two either way from your ordered waist size. Hiwever in the style like these that use snaps they have built in no way to adjust the size if you gain or lose any ammount of weight.That said the kilt is a heavy material and is well made. It fits well as long as tou measure yourself right.

First, this kilt looks amazing. very good material and is very well constructed, the utility pockets are large, have different dividers and are certainly useful. As I am the owner of several Kilts prior to this purchase I am fully aware of how to properly wear it . I measured as if it were going over my belly plus added 2 inches (as i wear a belt and sporran). 42' inches, its still still to small to fasten both the buttons and buckles. The frustrating part of the situation is, this kilt was extremely late due to back order or some other reason that I received a message about. They did however give me the option to cancel, I chose to get it anyway. So I guess I'll just pack it back up and try a 44' , though a 46' may be a safer choice given it's so small.

Awesome kilt. Sizing can be tricky though, so read through the reviews and decide what size you should order based off of similar builds. I am 5'9", 230lbs, and I lift heavy stuff competitively. I ain't fat, but I sure ain't skinny either. I normally wear a 38 size pants, but I have a power belly, so I ordered a 44 kilt. Just a tad too big, nothing that a kilt belt can't fix. I would order a 42 next time. Good quality materials, deep sewn pleats and low maintenance. Love it

It has the basic look of a traditional Kilt but it has pockets so you really do not need a sporran. most people would not recognize that it is not a traditional kilt.

The material is a good quality. When tryingon first time the buckle broke.

True fit, measure according to instructions and should fit perfectly. My one gripe would be the loose strings on the inside bottom hem of the kilt. Otherwise, great fit, great quality, excellent kilt!
