It is being used for a cold not well heated front door entrance. It does a very good job of keeping the area warm. It is small and quite decorative easy to operate although rather noisy. I have yet to use the remote control, have just set it at 65 degrees and it turns off and on to maintain that temperature. A very inexpensive heater and since it is so tiny it takes up very little space in a small area.

As others have noted, there was a strong chemical smell emanating from the heater so I ran it outdoors for a half hr and most of the smell dissipated.Pros: Solid build quality, remote included, enough power to heat a fairly large room and includes an oscillating featureCons: not many but the internal temp sensor is not great. We use this in my son's room in the winter and the temp will fluctuate by several degrees. Otherwise a great buy.

Great Heat, low noise and looks a lot better than a box-like device.....this is our fifth one to cover the whole house. Keep each room a different temperature, and our electric bill is not that big since we let the rooms that are unused go to a cooler temp. Has a thermostat control option to set your temp, or just manually set on high or low. Optionally swivels back and forth like a fan, if desired. Never used the remote control.

This unit has been an issue for so many other reasons but today it was accidently pushed over by my Grandchild. It never shut off. It was on my carpet on its side running and no emergency shut off worked. It just kept on burning away.It has been cold. I dragged this unit back out of its box to try it again. I was dissappointed again. Fire hazard. If the freight wouldn't have cost me as much as I paid for it, I would have sent this hazard back to the vendor.
