Q: How do i size the waist i these. do i take a tape measure and wrap it around my waist and use that measurement. or does 5.11 use vanity sizing?

I am a 32-in waist in other brand jeans, and I bought 32-in 5.11 jeans. My 32-in 5.11 jeans fit the same in the waist as other brands. They don't use vanity sizing, a 32 is a 32. Note that they are not all that slim fitting, at least not on me. They are cut for an athletic build with large thighs, not for a "desk jockey" like me. That said, I still like them. They are very high quality and the extra magazine pockets are great.

Q: Are these 34 length? The description only says Size 34.

The ones they sent me were 34x32. I did not get to select a length.
