Arrow Sewing Cabinets 800 Suzi, Four Drawer Sewing Storage Cabinent, Oak

To their credit, Arrow has good documentation online, with additional documentation that identifies all those little pieces of hardware, although the instructions included with the cabinet kit look like poor Xerox copies. The concept behind the storage is very nice, with pullout trays, but I must say, the MDF quality is less than stellar. The edges of the pieces are raw, and so I used varnish to seal the edges and bought melamine edging strips to hot-glue on. Any unwanted moisture getting into the room with this furniture is going to be absorbed through the raw edges will expand the MDF and will ruin the cabinet. I don't think it would raise the price of the cabinet too much to finish the edges, and it would be worth it for the durability and general appearance.Also, I was not thrilled with the oak-look vinyl finish, and would stick with the white. My advice to Arrow--you have great design ideas, but please increase the quality of materials.

I like this cabinet along side my arrow bertha sewing table. It provides me with handy storage for my threads and a good working surface for my ipad. All size spools fit in one drawer or the other. I do not like that the cabinet does not have locking casters. I have uneven floors and it rolls a little to easily. I’ll get some furniture caster cups to solve that problem.

I had to return this item when first purchased because of damage pieces (Arrow Sewing Cabinet). Management of Amazon of my return was flawless. The second item was received without problems. Putting it together was tedious, since I did it by myself. Make sure the drawer sliders are screwed in correctly. I found some holes were not drilled deep enough for some screws and alignments were not always correct. Product made in China. Forewarning, you only receive the exact number of hardware, no extras here.I use the buy ready to assemble products, many years ago of course, made in the USA with the inspector's name stamped on it. Not any more!! Sorry to see those days gone.

This cabinet is almost exactly what I expected except for one thing. The everything went together well except the hinges on the door. there were two different sizes of hinges in one package and the door will not work. I have communicated with Arrow 3 times and they have sent replacement hinges 2 times, but they have been the wrong ones. I still have not resolved this situation yet. I got the Arrow Bertha cabinet at the same time and it went together very well with no problems.

Awesome sidekick for my Sewnatra. Love it!
