The Vanishing Child: A London murder mystery with a climax you won't see coming (Detective Arla Baker Series Book 9)

I have read this series and loved them all… however as other reviewers have said, it is difficult to get past glaring basic errors. Nicole is 4 in the beginning of the book but referred to as a 2 year old on a crib later on. Natalie or Caroline? Who knows in different scenes! Also women don’t have an Adam’s apple!Too or to?I could go on (I am an English teacher🤦‍♀️) but the saving grace is the story. The characters are a bit disjointed in this book, but never mind.

I have say up all night reading this book I think it's the best one out of the series but it lost a star because the were so many mistakes in the book spelling and others such as names and ages but dispute them I have really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the next book. Thank you m l rose for keeping me entertained.

I was a bit bored reading through pages,but my god,couldn't put it down,just absolutely brilliant,how the story went,need to know what happened to Charlie now,hope next book will say,and happy ending,no rose. You are absolutely brilliant,,best writer ever,thankyou.

Detective Chief Inspector Arla Baker is called in to investigate the murder of a prominent Gynaecologist, who has been found dead on his bathroom floor. Little did she know that this was only the start of a number of murders and a very complicated case.

The only criticism I have is there were quite a few English mistakes in the book. It looks like the print setter was having a bad day or maybe English wasn't their first language. However it didn't detract from yet another great read.

Brilliant story line as r all the Arla Baker Series! 5*s. Though there were spelling n grammar errors, that I thought should b checked before publication! But soo enjoyed the book! Roll on Number 10.😊👍

From the first chapter the spelling mistakes begin and it’s not just the odd one or two. I found this most off putting and nearly gave up reading the book. The storyline is solid and enjoyable but would think twice before buying another book by this author due to the aforementioned issues
