BARRICADEUlti Flashing Tape 4" x 75' Roll - for Windows & Doors

The tape is nice and thick and appears to be durable. The problem is I applied it to osb. A common building material I thought? The tape stuck to it great and I did due diligence and rolled the tape after installation. Great, I thought. The unfortunate thing is, a few days later I checked the tape and it was falling off the wall? The adhesive had detached from the osb. What is the point of buying expensive tape if it will not hold? I rerolled the tape and stapled it to keep it stuck to the walls. Found it a few days later trying to fall off again. The staples kept it on... Fortunately, I found this early on and only used the tape for non-critical areas (like spots to keep mud daubers out instead of preventing water intrusion.I can't recommend this when it doesn't do the exact purpose it was designed for. I used a zippy brand of tape that was actually less expensive from a place where "doers go to get things done", but it held great and is still holding perfect months later.

Pretty impossible to make corners with this. It's thin and not as sticky as any other product I've used. If you're using for a replacement door/window, be sure to clean or better yet prime any surface you want it to stick to, and even then you'll have to cover it up immediately or it will come undone. Don't buy this.

I use this to flash shower pans and extra waterproofing when I build showers and it's easy to use and stays put.

Using this to secure a membrane on a Koi pond. The printing on the tape is unsightly for that purpose but can be removed with alcohol and a kitchen-type scrubby pad.
