I love these gel pens. I have not used them all yet - but I have used most of them. So far they all work - although several of them took some serious scribbling on scrap paper to get the ink to start flowing. The colors are gorgeous and the glitter pens are so sparkly and are my absolute favorite.I only have two complaints - and in my mind they are minor. The first is the package the pens come in was very brittle, and broke in several spots where they were joined, and also on the bottom when I was placing a couple of pens back in. This doesn't bother me as I plan to store them in something other than the packages they came in.The second complaint is that the ink colors do not match the lid/outside of the pen colors. Some of them match perfectly - but many of them are very far off (one of the colors I thought was a brown was actually a pink). However making a mark on scrap paper or making a color swatch (I just haven't gotten around to it yet) helps make sure you are getting the correct color you want. So far the pages I have colored have just been to relax and I haven't cared if the colors were perfect or not.One other thing to note - not all of the pens write in the same way - with some of them the ink flows out fast and you get a thicker line, and with others the ink flows slower and you get a thin line. So far it seems like the neon non-glitter ones make the finest lines, then the glitter pens and the metallic colors are the thickest.Overall I'm more than happy with my purchase!

I was looking for a larger set of gel pens that contain the color brown.Jewelescent pack of 100 contains 2 Brown glitter, 2 Brown pastel and 1 Metallic Brown. You would think they would be every colorist dream package of gel pens right? I thought so too As I was testing them to make sure they all worked, I found something that lessened my excitement.while I was reading the back panel information I noticed an alarming contradiction . In normal type-set it reads- Acid-Free & Non- Toxic- Ideal for drawing, Scrapbooking, Coloring, Crafting & Doodling.At the bottom I noticed very tiny print that I magnified it readsWARNING: This product may contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects, or other reproductive harm.To me ,that sure makes them sound Toxic & not non- toxic as they state they are. I only have had them out of the package once when they first arrived.. The colors did look vibrant and bold wet. However when they dried I thought there was a lot of fading.. Making them not the set I hoped they would be.I gave them 2 Stars based largely on my impression of the browns that prompted my purchase and not liking how they looked when they dried because, this would be my view if there was no warning . As I have had better results with Lolliz brand which is cheaper.The warning is why I haven't used them since and couldn't in good conscious recommend them to others

I would give 5 stars if all the gel pens had the same amount of ink. The amount differs by 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. Some of the pens look as if ink was used or maybe dried up/evaporated. One pen had only 1/2 inch, but no leaking in the package.I wish there was a set of 100 for this price that were all 1.0mm. The 0.8mm are a little too sharp for my liking, but to get the ink started use another sheet of paper so your project does not get the sharp indents. Other then minor things like pen caps not being screwed on fully to hold the ink cartridge in and several were very hard to start. I have tried all the pens some may be very close in shade/tone, but all are different and all worked.Over all it is great to have so many colors to use.

The pens feel like they are made of very cheap plastic, they break easily so you have to be careful about how you handle them. In less than a week I've already broken the clips off several of the caps trying to get them out of the package and shattered one of the pens when it fell off my desk onto a wood floor. However, the color they produce is really nice & easy to work with, the glitter and metallic shades are especially pretty for coloring. Its like they spent all the production money on the gel itself and said screw the pen casing, its not important.

These pens were just what I was looking for. I use Prismacolor pencils and I am able to add a touch of glitz where I want it. My only complaint is that the pens aren't labeled in any way so that you can keep them sorted. You just have to familiarize yourself with them. I love that the glitter pens have a watercolor-like transparency. The metallics are opaque. But I can add shadows with my pencils to either type of ink. I have metallic pencils but they don't have the rich effect of the pens. The neons are bright! As far as I can tell, there are no duplicate colors; these are 100 uniquely hued pens. They are a great addition to my art supplies and the cost was more than reasonable. As soon as they show any sign of running out of ink, I will defibnitely buy them again.

These pens are phenomenal! The colors look just like they do in the picture, and there are no repeated colors. There are several colors that are similar in shades, but they are either glittery, metallic, or just plain, so either way, it's not the same color. I bought these to replace a set of gel pens that I had bought at Office Max which have run out of ink. The Office Max ones were quite annoying because often times the ink would stop flowing and I'd have to hit the ballpoint of the pen several times in order to get the ink flowing again. So far I have not had any such issues with these pens and I have used them for coloring, grading, and writing notes. The ink flow seems very consistent after the initial use of each color. I have no complaints with these pens and I highly recommend buying them.

Great colors. Some of the pens have a little rough time getting the ink to flow but once the ink flows it comes out pretty good. Some of the pens seem to empty pretty fast. There are no repeat colors and the packaging has Velcro so it stays together. The opening to the packages snap shut and keep all my pens together. I wish the ink didn't disappear so fast and that is why I have only given it 4 stars but I would buy again.
