Have a box of tissues handy and be prepared to have your heart torn out, the last several chapters are very emotional.

I cried A LOT while reading this and the next book in the series. More than any of the other books "...Dreaming Girl" and "...His First Love" will hit you hard in the feels. They are probably also the most confusing as well, LOL. I love that with this book, the mystery surrounding Sakuta's first introduction to Adolescence Syndrome, and his ties to Shouko, are finally being revealed.If you like the books but haven't seen the animations, I highly recommend them too. The anime mostly followed books 1-5. The movie revolves around books 6 & 7.

This one and the next one. Both of them hit hard because the entire series feels as though it builds to this.I'm really excited to see where this goes next because it built so well, each book working well to "earn" each step forward.

Interesting plot, well-written characters, cute illustrations. I really love all the novels in this series. A slice-of-life-y love story with supernatural/psychological fantasy elements, and sciencey you've thrown in the mix.

Amazing as always from Kamoshida-Sensei. It’s a completely different experience from the movie don’t hesitate to go through the story again.The way the feelings of helplessness and desperation of the characters are transmitted to you like you were taking part of these events

Desde que vi la película no podía esperar a leer también la novela ligera. Para ser honestos, superó con creces mis expectativas. Aunque ya sabía cómo iba a terminar, eso no hizo que perdiera para nada el impacto. No pude evitar llorar con el final. Definitivamente el mejor volumen hasta ahora. Me es imposible escoger entre Mai y Shoko. Para mi, ambas son best girl.

This covers everything in the first half of the adapted movie. Such a great story.

Vom Buch ganz überzeugt. Nur ist mir auf der letzten Seite paar „Flecken“ aufgefallen, die nicht von mir stammen. Anscheinend wurde das Buch benutzt, aber als neu verkauft. Deshalb 1 Stern minus leider.

El major libro de la historia. Personalmente, Mai pasó de ser mi personaje favorito a ser el segundo después de Shouko.
