Bought this for my 83rd year old mother who loved doing jigsaws, but struggled with smaller pieces due to arthritis. She loved the beauty and clarity of the picture and found the pieces comfortable to work with. My experience of Ravensburger puzzles is that are high quality, good fit and no false fits and this puzzle does not disappoint

This puzzle was up to the usual Ravensburger standard, but I would comment that their puzzles tend to have more puzzle dust than some of the new puzzle manufacturers coming onto the market. However their pieces fit really well together and the quality is well up to the best standard in the puzzle market. This puzzle looks stunning when completed, but I found it wasn't one of the easiest of all the puzzles to complete.

It's been a newish tradition in my family to get a limited edition jigsaw to occupy everyone on those long days between school finishing & Christmas Eve! Now I kinda do them on my own! But occasionally someone will come off TicTok to join in! Once it's being completed I know Christmas has starred! This & Handel's Messiah! Quality is always good & I stick with Ravensburher because of this. Their customer service is also excellent.

My first Ravensburger with pieces missing. Disappointing.

We really enjoyed doing this beautiful puzzle! Large format and non glare pieces are great for seniors.

As you expect with a Ravensburger puzzle, this jigsaw is made of excellent quality cardboard and the pieces, which are smooth and lovely to handle, without a distracting glossy finish, click together very satisfactorily without too much effort. The illustration is beautiful and detailed, and there is enough variation of texture and colour in the image for it to come together reasonably easily even if you don't look at the box much (or at all!). Although this jigsaw puzzle is only 500 pieces, the completed puzzle is about the same size as a normal 1000-piece puzzle because of the 'Large Piece Format' advertised on the box. This should enable younger or less experienced puzzlers (and puzzlers with limited eyesight or dexterity) to join in the puzzling experience! Altogether, this was a very pleasant and relaxing puzzle experience, and I hope that the family member that I pass it on to next will love it as much as I did!
