McCormickPerfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning, 3.18 oz (Pack of 6)

This is by far the most delicious seasoning I have ever used. everything that I make with it is a hit. I was very happy with it until I saw that the product uses genetically engineered products. I have found some replacement seasonings at my local health food store. for those who don't mind being a part of the biggest experiment ever then you cannot beat this seasoning but if you'd rather not be a guinea pig then you should try another seasoning. McCormick does make other seasonings that do not carry this genetically engineered label, but for me, once bitten twice shy.

To be clear (witch the sales ad was NOT) I love the stuff. I found it once at a King Soopers in Denver, for about $3.50... TWO years ago! Now I've found other McCormick Perfect Pinch products, but not the Cajun flavor. So I went to Amazon.It SEEMED I was getting three bottles for $12 plus. Instead, I got one bottle. Now I'm afraid to open it, I don't know what to expect from a $4 an ounce McCormick seasoning.

I like this seasoning but it wasn't what I was hoping for.What I've been seeking is the old McCormick Vegetable Supreme. That seasoning got my picky hubby to actually like asparagus and broccoli!That had sesame seeds and a more buttery flavor than this; but I'm not saying this is bad.This is just different and not exactly what I was looking for.This has red bell pepper bits and no sesame seeds and it doesn't have the buttery flavor, but that's easy to compensate for by adding a dab of butter to the cooked veggies.I guess it's more like a blend of finely minced dried vegetables instead of something meant to enhance veggie flavor.My hubby still eats his veggies when I use this so I'll stick with it and look forward to trying it with different things, not just veggies.I think it's worth a try if you're seeking a flavorful seasoning for veggies or maybe chicken or fish. It definitely lifts the taste out of the usual and you don't have to use a lot.

A little goes a long ways, so start off using sparingly. I nice change to every day dishes of any sort. From fish, chicken, pork and even beef to grilled veggies (BBQ corn my favorite), this will put some snap back into your cooking

I’ve had a difficult time finding this flavor enhancer again since I’d grown to really enjoy it’s taste on so many foods. I try not to use salt so it fits great in my diet. When I found it on Amazon, I bought 6 jars! I like all the Perfect Pinch spices that I’ve tried.
