These were what I was hoping for. They are strong, sturdy, and lightweight.

I bought these mainly for use in Bishop, CA where the ground is mostly hard packed sand, rock and granite. I ended up bending every single one of the aluminum stakes that came with my tent trying to stake my tent down in that surface. The aluminum stakes would run into a granite rock and stop, with the stake still sticking halfway out. And you know that is no way to stake a tent down, especially if you expect it to be even slightly windy. At that point, the aluminum stakes would start to bend as I continue to hammer it in. But with these titanium stakes I can continue to hammer and not worry about it bending. These are indestructible. REI had sold some thinner titanium stakes but those still bent. These Ti nail pegs are the perfect thickness and can handle being driven through rocks. Aluminum stakes work fine in the grass and dirt but if you need to set up camp in an area of mostly rock or hard pack, these Ti nail pegs are the ones to get.

I tried these just for the heck of it; I though it'd be nice to have something that packs in a smaller package compared to my MSR Groundhog stakes (which are also very good). I honestly did not have high hopes for these. I live in CO and am almost always pitching on extremely hard decomposed granite ground. As it happens they drove very easily into surfaces that I'd struggled with, usually bending the heads of the MSRs in the process. These not only went in smoothly, but held incredibly well. I'm not sure they'd be nearly as effective on very soft soil, but for harder conditions they're absolutely stellar.For reference, I almost always use a trekking pole tent, so stake security is absolutely paramount.I think they're a bit pricey for what they are, however they're well worth that money for how they perform.10/10 heartily recommend.

Don't know why they use the term 'Bulk'...There are Six (6) in the package.Small but effective. Lightweight but strong.Well made and includes short, reflective lanyards.Very pleased with my purchase. I am ordering another set next week.A full dozen will will give me enough to stake out my tent and rain fly. Note: These serve 'double duty'. I store these by weaving them throughthe molle webbing on my pack and the webbing on my molle attached pouches.Although they don't actually take up much pack volumn, storing them inthis manner removes one more item from the limited interior space andmore securely attaches my additional external items. Note: As Always, I compared prices with many toher sites. In addition to being comparably priced,Amazon prime meant free 2 day shipping.

Pricey but great! Penetrated caleche soil and held in outdoor Christmas decor perfectly - even in desert wind! It's going to be ideal for pilot holes in caleche here for us and we will use it for camping, tents, and will confidently try it for holding down target mounts for ranges/marksmanship.

My fault for not reading reviews and looking closer. There are answers in the Q & A that says 6 stakes and I have a feeling the seller doesn't care that it's implied there are more.

Heavier than I was hoping for. I bought these based on the fact they’re titanium and assumed they would be sufficient for my ultralight setup. Theyre .2 oz (each) heavier than my aluminum stakes. They feel well built and heavy duty, just too heavy for my needs. Im sure ill find a use for them in the future.

These are very light weight, sturdy and have 3 different uses. Tent stakes chopsticks, and cat hole digger sticks.
