No idea why this mask hasn’t got more good reviews. It’s perfect for retinol users as it’s anti-inflammatory which is a great way to make sure the retinol doesn’t make your skin react badly.I have combination skin and this clears occasional acne and also gives a lovely glow. I tend to use it most days as more of a face wash as it’s so gentle but will leave it on longer to do more of its thing once a week.

Beautifully packaged, the product arrived as described. The clay mask was easy to use and felt gentle on my skin. It has thick, smooth and creamy consistency. After leaving the mask on for 15 mins, I washed it off leaving my skin refreshed, soft, bright and clean. I would highly recommend this product to those looking for a premium turmeric clay mask with supporting and nourishing ingredients.

I bought this mask for my wife and she says this is the best mask she used so far! It is one of the only masks that work. She has very sensitive skin and prone to acne, that's why she is very careful about the masks she uses. Definitely will buy it again and will recommend it to my friends.

When I first bought this product it was great - however now after using once or twice and leaving for a week or so - I’m finding mould grow within the tub and the cream … This has happened twice now and I’ve had to bin - this never used to happen I’m not sure what’s going on with this product anymore ! It’s a shame because it was quite good.

A not very special mask, have to mention here.It's another clay mask that I've tried several months ago, used it for a 1-2 months.The colour of the clay is yellow, nice colour in my opinion, no scent at all, nor when applied on the skin.It does clean the face well, after taking it off the face I could feel the skin being fresh and comfortable.It does relax the skin as well, in a way, I could feel my face relaxed as well.If it's worth £13 well, I don't know, I consider it's not worth so much, but at 8-9 it would be ok.

I’ve never tried a turmeric face mask before, so thought I’d give it a try, and I have to say I really like it on balance. The mask, as the pictures shows, is really yellow because of the turmeric. The texture is creamy and smooth and it’s very easy to apply with the provider applicator (which isn’t a brush as seems to be suggested). The applicator makes it far less messy than applying with your fingers, so I was really pleased that it was included.I left the mask in for longer than the ten minutes suggested, as I was relaxed and didn’t want to get up! I thought the face mask would go opaque like clay masks do when they dry, but it didn’t, though it did go ‘off’ so to speak but not like a clay mask does. I washed it off with my trusty muslin cloth I was very surprised that it stained my cloth, which I guess shouldn’t be that surprising with the turmeric, but I didn’t expect it. I did manage to get the turmeric off the cloth afterwards by washing it immediately, but won’t be using an unbleached muslin cloth in the future to remove it!After removal and using moisturiser my skin felt very soft. The next morning my skin looked good, if a little oilier than usual, which was easily rectified by cleansing. So all in all this is a decent face mask that seems to do the job well. It loses a star because of the colouring of the face cloth and the slight oiliness overnight.

The brush isn’t a brush but a small plastic spatula item for spreading the product onto your face.Right for one thing don’t use pale or white coloured face cloths for removing it that’s a big no no.The pot the inner cover is a hard one to remove was on mine, tweezers required to pull it up and open it first use.The face mask so yellow it is frightening did wonder at first will it all come off or will there be a faint tint left behind. No and no.I was so pleased so with the results my skin wasn’t blotchy, red or stinging after using it. The mask did take a couple of tries to remove near eyebrows I somehow got it into those. Honestly my skin looked cleaner than I’ve know for a while but this became more apparent next morning.Using this now twice a week to help sort my skin out and at the cost of it and the results I think good. Four stars though as no brush but a plastic spatula which isn’t doing all that much for the environment maybe a wooden stick instead.Nice to be using a natural product with it being turmeric but maybe not so good the plastic tool and pot.

I have used turmeric clay masks before ranging from the expensive, well-known brand to a much cheaper dupe version. The main ingredient of these masks is usually Kaolin, Bentonite, or Volcanic Soil that are known for their cleansing and purifying properties. This one from IvaMar uses Volcanic Clay.The featured ingredient in this mask is Turmeric, a type of root from a plant that’s rich in antioxidant and great for treating skin inflammation, lighten pigmentation, and brighten skin complexion.This mask comes in an open jar type container together with a tiny plastic spoon. It has quite a unique smell, I would describe it as earthy and slightly medicinal – not an overpowering smell.Application is straightforward. Spread the mask thinly on your face excluding the eyes and lips area and let it work its magic. Depending on your skin type, you might only need to use it once a week. For my combination skin, I use it twice a week. It doesn’t dry down too quickly or dry as hard as my other clay masks. This face mask doesn’t give a tingling sensation like some other masks do and don’t worry, it wont turn your skin yellow! Lol.I find it easier to remove using a warm towel, it’s slightly slimy when wet, so I wouldn’t use my hands to take it off.My skin feels clean and smooth after application. I’ve noticed that my skin is brighter too. Nevertheless, there’s no change in the sizing of my pores. I might need to use it regularly to see if it will work to its full potential. It’s good to know that I don’t experience any adverse reaction from using it.If you have not used a clay mask before, I would recommend doing a patch test on a small area on your face first for any possible reaction. Some people have reported to have had a bad allergic reaction from this type of clay mask. It might not be the clay itself that is causing the reaction, but might be caused by one of the other ingredients.In general, as clay will draw impurities to the surface, if you have blemish skin, you might see more spots coming out after the first time use anyway.Overall, for the current price of £12.99, it can be a great alternative for the more expensive brands. This is a clay-based mask so better for those with greasy or younger skin.It is a lovely turmeric yellow colour but has no real scent at all.The jar is glass and the lid screw top with an inner plastic seal.You get a small spatular in the box too in order to scoop the mask out and not contaminate it.You only need a small amount as a thin layer is all that you need to apply.Leave it on for about ten minutes then rinse it off with warm water.I had to use a facecloth to get it all off and the colour really showed on the facecloth.I felt that the colour stayed on my face a bit too but it did go after a while.It made my face feel deep cleaned so as I said best for those with oily skins really.

This is the first time I'm trying a turmeric based face mask. Some the ingredients are interesting so I was excited to try this. I have used this 3 times so far, approximately every 5 days. It has a subtle, pleasant scent. It applies well on the face, but starts getting absorbed quite quickly. So you need quite a bit of product on your face. I have normal skin with some more oily parts. My skin is also quite sensitive. I'm quite impressed with this face mask. Initially I thought it was drying my skin a little bit, however it left it very clean, bright and moisturised. I think it is ideal for oily skin. I'm not sure it helped with signs of aging though. Hence the 4 stars.

This arrives boxed inside is small jar of deep yellow clay mask and a small plastic spatula thing, my daughter didn’t think much of applicator so used her own mask brushes.It’s easy to apply and feels much like any clay mask, cold and slimy until dries 😂.My daughter applied to both of us and honestly although skin felt soft and fresh after use I felt had more dry patches next day but my daughter loved it, she is 20 and still has odd outbreak of spots and oily skin, this left her skin soft and oil free and she has used weekly since.I’d say more suited to young or oily skin but works really well then
