SHIMANO CS-HG800 // 11-fach Kassette (11-34 Zähne)

Ordered the 11-34 because it will work with Shimano 11 speed road shifters but can use a normal 10 speed wheelset. ONLY THE 11-34 will work like this. Besides all the well known qualities of Ultegra items, the compatibility feature is awesome since 11spd mountain and road standards are different now. You can run beefier MTB wheels for a gravel or cross build but maintain road drivetrain compatibility using this cassette.

Just the right ratio of gearing I needed. Just be aware that you may get some clicking noise while in the 27t (3rd largest sprocket) when in your large chainring up front. This is due to the chain catching some of the 25t sprocket. Others have had this problem but it’s not bothering me.Solution to clicking: This was happening to me as well and at first it didn’t bother me - until it did. I eventually swapped my 11-speed chain for a 12-speed and that silly little .1 mm kept it from catching and snapping.

I bought this cassette after learning that the Ultegra RX will accept a 34t cog. I switched to a 46 1x up front to take on some local hills & this cassette keeps me spinning, seated for longer, and downshifts easily so I can get back on the gas toward the summit. Local bike shop was out, so I ordered this. OEM so it did what I expected. No issues. A learning experience for me on the plastic sleeve, I took it off and the sprockets and spacers went everywhere. Looked after the fact at some YouTube videos and they show you how to unlock the sleeve and with the cassette still on the sleeve it is easy to slide them on the rear hub. Recommend keeping the plastic sleeve should you ever need to remove the cassette.

Perfect cassette to match the medium cage Ultegra derailleur. I built my Di2 system with this in the rear to give me a 1:1 ratio for better hill climbing. This shifts perfectly when matched with an Ultegra chain and my Quarq crank. Should last a long time.

Great cassette, except there is one gear that is noisey third biggest cog. Not sure something must be slightly off on spacing.

Put on a 2017 Trek Domane with no problems. Will be used for Colorado.

11速で11-30Tのカセットを使っていたが、ロングライドでは急坂にも遭遇するし、ジジイで体力のない私の貧脚では１：１（前ギア34T：後ギア34T）を試してみたくなり当11-34Tカセットに交換してみた。嫌だったら戻せばいいし。チャリはスペシャライズド・ルーベ。【 11-13-15-17-19-21-23-25-27-30-34T 】激坂での34Ｔは想定どおりテキメンに効果ある。進まないのは当然だが、足つきしそうな坂も座ったまま登れる。実は27Tか30Tでも登れる場面が大半なのではあるが、激坂用１枚を残している安心感がある。ただしカセット重量は増えるので、その点どう見るか。想定外で嬉しい誤算だったのは、ギアアップ/ギアダウンがメリハリある（アップ/ダウン比が大きい）こと。トップ側11Tからのギアダウンで歯数が単純に一個とびに「直線的に」増えるので、これはギア比では「対数的に（逆数的に）」大きくギアダウンしている。以前の11-30Tカセットではトップ側は歯数が一個づつ増えるので、体力のない私は常に２段アップや２段ダウン、つまりカチャカチャと連続２回シフト操作していた。この11-34Tは一回のシフトでギア比が大きく変速するので気持ち良い。しかし、逆に言えば「レースの高速走行中に駆け引きとかでトップ寄りの微妙なギア比を必要とする上級者」には向かないのでしょう。それに脚力ある人にとっては、重量を犠牲にしてまで34Ｔは不要だろうし。ジジイの三大好物、大相撲・プリウス・34T　ってか？

Falsche Angabe. Geliefert wurde eine HG800 MTB Kassette und keine R8000 Ultegra. Diese ist zwar fast gleichwertig bei etwas mehr Gewicht, aber der Stattpreis von über 100€ ist falsch und irreführend.
