Flunked its first test! Bad Tile?
Well, I had high hopes for this device, as I am constantly losing things. I bought tile for my wallet, briefcase, keys, and even placed one in my car. I did all of this last week immediately after receiving the items from Amazon. Well, I'm writing this review after my very first opportunity to use this. This morning (exactly an hour ago), I was about to leave my house and realized that I did not have my wallet on me. I did a quick peek around the house and I could not find it. I said that this was my opportunity to try out Tile. I turned on my phone and looked at the Wallet section within the Tile App. It does the dotted green circular thing, which indicates that it hasn't connected to my wallet yet. The app says that when there is a full green circle, then that means it has connected and then I can press something, so that the music will begin from the tile that is sitting in my missing wallet. I walked my entire house and the tile never connected, yet the app said that the last place it noticed the tile that's in my wallet was IN MY HOUSE.The thing that first irritates me about this situation is that I should be able to press the button which would play the tile music, regardless of it making a 100% connection. JUST PLAY THE MUSIC, so I can have a hint about where my wallet is! I gave up on the app, sat down, and just tried to remember in my mind where the wallet might have been. I remembered my briefcase and there my wallet was. I pulled out the wallet and placed it right next to my phone (which still had the Tile app running) and guess what, still it didn't connect. I pulled the tile out of my wallet and placed it on top of my phone. Still didn't connect. Angry! Therefore, at this time, I had an extra tile and programmed that tile for my wallet and my hope that I just had a faulty tile. If it is a faulty tile, I'm not happy because it's not like these tiles are cheap. Let's see how this goes.On the plus side, I can say there is a full green circle on the app concerning my keys and briefcase (for the car, I had to actually open the car door before it would connect to the tile in my glove compartment...pathetic). I will try to be optimistic. If my experience improves over time, I will send an update, but as of right now, I am disappointed.

So many reasons you should get this and not think twice.
Aw man, every time I lose my wallet or keys or phone I'm drunk ...I mean so stoked I have these!! Not just useful if you leave your wallet at the bar, but great if you lose things around the house regularly like I do ...like your computer charger, brb.Ok, It works both ways so you can press the button on the tile twice and it will trigger the alert on your phone if you can't find your phone. This is very easy to setup and use. I was so excited about these that I bought one for my entire family as holiday gifts and will probably get them the same thing next year because they all think they lost them but really I took them.I'm the exact opposite of an impulse buyer, I do lots of research, read reviews, etc. Please note that these work on crowd finding, not satellite which would be much more expensive. This means if you lose your wallet or it's stolen on the street it's not just going to give you a pin point location like google maps that will lead you directly to your wallet, instead it relies on other users to trigger its location, so hopefully the person picking your pocket also has them. I'll leave it up to you to research this further but sometimes ignorance is bliss, so don't over think it if you weren't expecting that and now find yourself wanting it because you just discovered there's more advanced options that exist in the world :) something is better than nothing and these work amazing for their purpose and price.

Unsatisfied Customer
The tile system seems to be an eye catcher and great idea at first, but I learned its not what I had in mind. The purpose of the tile is to help you find things should you happen to lose them, i.e. wallet, phone, keys...important stuff.. I had bought the slim tile with that very same intention thinking it was the answer to making sure you didn't lose things. First off, your bluetooth must always be left on. I didn't mind since bluetooth is used for many other bluetooth devices but then I also learned that the tile signal stops when the app (you have to download the tile app) is closed. So in order for it to work effectively, you must keep the app running at all times. Ok. Fine. No problem. However I noticed I kept having problems with the tiles and the devices they were "assigned". SOMETIMES it worked other times it didn't. To me, then, its UNRELIABLE. What's the point of having something that is unreliable?? Its as if your phone worked once in a while. Now, keep in mind that I had them on two items, two iphones to be exact, mine and my spouse'. So after much frustration, I emailed the company and this is what I was told "It’s important to remember that your Tile can only connect to one device at a time. That means that, if you’re logged into your account on two devices that are in the same room, your Tile will connect only to the one that is closest to it. You can think about it like “first come, first serve.” Now it made sense to me as to why the phone that I was looking for DIDN'T ring with the tile but rather the phone that I WASN'T looking for DID ring. Makes no sense. In my opinion, it should be that I program one tile with one phone, one tile with another phone and each one works independently and NOT "criss-cross". It shouldn't be strictly limited to one device. I mean, you can have it on two devices but the tiles will get "confused". I will NOT recommend the tile system to anybody or purchase it for myself until serious improvements are made.

OK
A great idea that is almost there. I find the intentions of this product very useful but it requires more maintenance than you would think. Having to repurchase tiles and enroll in their program to continue using it is awful. The range on the tiles isn't that great either. If you are really someone who looses things all the time and really need a solution then I would definitely recommend this for you. However if you are looking to toss one in your wallet or on your phone just in case of the event you loose it, I would not recommend.

Love it and of course it works just as great ...
Love it and of course it works just as great as my tile mate, but it is a little bigger than I had hoped for. I ordered a set of 4 and I’m really not sure what l can do with that many.

Great device
I taped one to my work I'd badge. In the morning sometimes I forget where it is. This device has saved me a few times.Wish when I find someone else's lost items I could receive points etc and use for new devices. Would encourage having it on all the time.

Alright, but not a life charger
The product itself is fine, I suppose, but it's use is kind of limited. If there are many Tile users in your area you might be able to use this in worst case scenarios, otherwise it's fine for finding things you misplaced at home. It's limited by Bluetooth's range and the last reported location. It's a worthwhile addition to a key ring and maybe a wallet but beyond that I'm hard-pressed to see where it would make sense to place one.I bought a pack of 4 and could make use of 1. They don't all have keyholes.

Works well
It works well, but the disappointing thing (which they fail to disclose) is that the times are battery operated and you can't replace them. So you have to throw them away and by new ones after 12 months.
