Q: I need a toddler helmet for my baby ...his head measures 52 cm

Right between sizes - of course! The helmet is adjustable at the back so try the larger size and make it thr smallest setting at the back when you put it on.

Hello Barbara,Thank you for your question! The Noodle works best for children between the ages of one and four however, this does not mean it will not fit your nine-month-old. It really depends on the size of your child's head. This fits a head size between 18.5-20.5 inches in circumference. I would suggest wrapping a string around the top portion of your child's head and then measuring the length of the string to see if it fits these measurements. I hope this helps!

I purchased the xsmall-small for a 3 year old. fit fine.

Q: Does this helmet breath well? I'm concerned it will keep my son hot!

I've never seen my son have sweat or anything after riding, so I'd say so.
