It has only moderate suction. My pond was pretty dirty and could have used a vacuum with a little more strength.

Made from very hard plastic. Easley get dent.Also when you vacuum after ten minutes stop , pump on and off .Vacuum attachments come loose easily.

Great product, great seller. We use the Pondovac to get rid of year long deposit of algae of our Koi pond, it works perfectly. The pond is cleared of algae almost completely after one deployment; we plan to repeat the cleaning this weekend.To the order, the shipment was delayed due to carrier's problem but seller handled the issues to our satisfaction.I'd recommend this Pondovac to anyone who has algae problems of their pond; such an effective device should have come into being long time ago.I'd buy from this seller again.

I purchased this unit and it worked fine at first. Then it started losing power as soon as the warranty ran out. It needs a new powerhead but Osae does not sell one to USA customers. They sell them in Europe and other countries but not the USA. Why do they discriminate against Americans? (I guess they think we are all wealthy and can afford a new $450.00 unit instead of a $150.00 fix.) Buy a competitor unit. The Pondguy sells a unit made by Osae but to their specs. It's is $100 less than Osae pond vac 4. They can't get a replacement powerhead for their unit either. I would buy a competitor's product until they stop discriminating against Americans.
