Kenneth Cole REACTION 17" Polyester Dual Compartment 4-Wheel Laptop Backpack, Black

I tried this on a local store, still debating if I will get it, but wanted to share my hands-on thoughs.Pros:Looks sturdy and well built.Looks classy and practical for travel.Can fit large laptops (but not too large, see below and see pics).4-wheels are really convenient when traveling, if you travel a lot then you know how clumsy 2 wheeled bags can be.lots of internal pockets for storage of small things.Cons:Large laptops can be a tight fit, the fabric is stressed out, not sure if it will give in after a while or break.The top of the laptop compartment is not padded which means you can hurt your laptop if you hit the backpack from above.It may be a bit big for use as backpack.The rear is not padded so if you make it heavy you may feel the handle rail system on your back, which may be uncomfortable after some time.The parts where the carrying straps are latched are plastic, albeit it feels like a strong plastic it may be a week spot, only time could tell.Bottom Line, I'm not sure if I will get it, but is definitely one of the best 4 wheeled backpacks I have seen that can carry my gaming laptop (even if it is a supper tight fit)if its any help, my laptop measures W: 17"(43.2cm) x L: 11" (28.5cm) x H:1.6" (3.5cm)I'm giving the item 5 stars, because I don't own it (yet) and if the product is in fact durable it would make a 5 start product, If I get it and it breaks of fails after some time, I'll post and updateUPDATE Sept 10th 2016: so I did finally purchased it a few days after my first review, and have been using it for local travel, my laptop still fits a bit tight but it is much more easier to put in and out now, so it has given in a tiny bit, enough so I don't have to struggle with it anymore. nothing has broken even with some weight on it my laptop and charger are 7kg (12+ pounds)Overall I'm happy with it, couple cons I have found, this could benefit from a chest strap (any backpack would, should be a standard), and a few D shaped rings to hang carabiner hooks would be really useful, I miss them from. my other packs. but I think I can live with it.One con is that the padding in the back is actually good, you won't feel any discomfort if you carry it on your back for long times with weight.

A little on the pricey side for my normal but the value is there. Great quality and holds all 5 of my work laptops and chargers along with some other random job related stuff. The grip/loops on the zippers are a great touch. The bag before loading it is very light weight, and the wheels roll very smoothly. One of my favorite features is that you can hide the back straps or the handle depending on your current use.

I am so very Pleased with my New Reaction It is loaded and ready for service! The fact that it holds everything inside individual pockets is very important, and set upright so i am not wrestling on the floor to reach inside, this is just what I needed to carry sound equipment into the television station well placed and secure. I also am really pleased with the way this handles no fighting with it to go in any direction, it is ready to move with me when i move.Thank you Kenneth !!! :)

Update: I lugged this bag around Europe for 45 days. Therefore I am outside the Amazon return window to get rid of this worthless item. As others have mentioned, the wheels are horrible. It will not roll straight no matter what you try. After 45 days of hard use I’ve downgraded this to a 1 star review. Since I can no longer return this item it will be donated to the local Goodwill store where the next person will discover that in spite of an almost new appearance they should found something better at the Salvation Army. I’ve read the Kenneth Cole began selling out of a 40 foot semi trailer in NYC 40 years ago. With this kind of product he should return to his roots sooner, rather than later.I purchased this bag to replace one I had used in the past that only had two wheels. It proved to be difficult to pull and guide. I bought this bag due to 4 wheels. While it does pull better, it is not well designed. It was more expensive than my other bag but it is not waterproof nor as sturdy as my other. There are far too few pocket and zippered areas for storage. All-in-all you are paying too much for a name and there is too little functionality. My advice, keep shopping.

I love this product. It is very easy to maneuver. I purchased another product recently, however, the handle would not budge and thus unusable. This handle works every time and is easy to pull up. Great product, so glad I decided to purchase. I also love the place to put 2 bottles of water on either side of the case. It is a well made product!

I'd give this 5 stars if it weren't for the crappy wheels. Getting it to roll consistently and responsively is quite a trick - steering it is much like steering a really bad supermarket trolley. Which is such a pity when the rest of the bag is so good, giving the option of converting easily into a backpack when needed, and otherwise being very well designed, with excellent capacity and useful pockets.

If you use it as a daily traveler over rough concrete .. the wheels will wear out...

Finally! A rolling backpack that works for me and is high quality!! It is made as an overnight bag that will hold a 17" computer, but I use it as a rolling cane! It is a spinner that works well and is sturdy. The handle stays up so that I can rely on it. It does not collapse on me. I am disabled, so the support makes a big difference for me, and the pack is large enough to hold water, some food, medical supplies, as well as my wallet and cell phone! Awesome. Highly recommend, whether you are mobility impaired or not.
