MerrellWomens Trail Glove 6

Comfy, snug and grippy
Bought as cycling shoes, would also wear for hiking. Pretty true to size, I usually wear a 6 to 6 1/2, purchased a 7 based on reviews. While a little bit more toe space at the end, I don’t mind because they are a bit narrow in width. Really difficult to get on my feet-use both thumbs to press the tongue sides against the shoe, then a shoe horn for the back-haha-being 59 years old is no joke! But once the shoe is on, it’s Cinderella at the ball! I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks now, still in love. They feel great, love the light arch support and the grippy treads.

LOVE 😍
These shoes are super lightweight but still protective. I hike about 20 miles per week every week. The shoes were holding up great - I wear them everywhere, not just on the trails. I failed to change into my yard work shoes before trimming trees and debris. Alas, I'm buying a second pair only a month later. I put in about 80 miles on these and they were still holding up great

Great for high arches.
I love these! They are so comfortable and weigh nothing. They also look good. I am ready for a second pair.

Not as roomy as my other Merrill "Barefoot" shoes
My foot could be a model for size 10 Women Merrill shoes, so I cannot truthfully say that this shoe does not fit correctly. It does. But it is made to fit more snuggly around the toes than other Merrill Barefoot shoes I have owned. The wide toe bed is great for Zumba and pilates. These shoes do NOT have a wide toe bed. These are comfortable shoes as all my Merrills are, just not what I was expecting. As an after thought wish I had sent them back.

Terrible, no longer the same fit
I have worn Merrell Trail Gloves for years and love them. These are not the same and I hate them. Since getting them I have tried inserts, nothing works. The mid-sole is raised and pushes against my foot the whole time. So sad.

No arch support
I love the design of the shoe. They look great but when I tried them on and I walked, my feet would caved inward. They are wide and flat so the inner/arch of my feet felt no support. I love Merrell's but these were a fail for me and I had to return them.

Roomy and cushioned
I bought a 9.5 but I think the shoe runs a little big and I wish I had gotten then 9. I think they are really roomy and not narrow at all. I was surprised at the cushiony arch support. They feel more supportive than other barefoot merrells I've owned. Overall I'm happy and I'll keep the 9.5s

Got rid of the reasons to buy Merrell's
I've bought three previous versions of the trail glove, and loved them. The trail glove 6, however, has gotten rid of what made the shoe great.1. Long, high arches - I don't have flat feet. Most shoes with arches don't bother me a bit, so I wasn't put off by the reviews about them, but the arches on these are so high and long they rub nonstop on the front part of my arch.2. Sole is thicker, padded, and relatively inflexible. The trail glove 5 had just enough thickness to ease out the sharp rocks and otherwise provide a minimalist feel with a flexible, thin sole, but these are fluffy clogs in comparison.3. Narrow toe box. Earlier versions had a wide toe box allowing your foot to splay out, but this one grips on both sides and doesn't allow much wiggle room.I will take these for a few more runs to see if my feet can get used to them but will likely just toss them in the back of my closet and grab another pair of the trail glove 5's.

Hard as a rock
If you’re looking for a barefoot or minimalist shoe, this is not it. It is as hard as a rock. Zero flexibility to the shoes. Cinches up really nice but it’s like having a stone slab strapped securely to the bottom of your foot.

Fit like a glove
Wow! At first I thought maybe they sent a size 8 instead of a 10 since I couldn't even get 1/2 my foot in them. My original review was not flattering and I gave them 2 stars and said they "strangled my feet", and end it with "buyer beware," fully intending to return them. The next day I tired them on but first I loosened the laces as much as possible, creating wide loops between the eyes. Then I "stuffed my feet into them" and did the laces up very loosely. Now they fit like a glove and I am keeping them. I did get them at a very good price of $53.00.

Pies felices
Merrell es Merrell sí, pero es que este modelo a más que eso es libertad absoluta para mis pies, comodidad y seguridad en la pisada. Gracias.
