The Real Weight!
I have several different bolts and arrows that I use in my Cross-Bow. I have changed some of the Nocks and I wanted to have a good idea of the total weight of my arrows, so I could make an "adjustment" when using a carbon bolt versus an aluminum bolt. The scale is basically a small scale that measures in Grains, but has a nice holder that you can use to balance the arrow over the scale. It is very simple... but works like a charm. In addition, you can get a small plastic bowl and zero set the scale and you could use this to weigh gunpowder if you reload your own ammunition.Good Scale... Versatile.... Good Quality... all that equals 5 Stars!

COMPLETE and TOTAL JUNK!!!!!!!
This is my first ever review. But I must say that this product is complete junk. I spend thousands of dollars on my hunting equipment, gear, leases, etc. I bought this to weigh my arrows and it will give you a completely different reading on the same arrow every time. It requires you to obtain a 200g calibration weight just to calibrate it for the first time. Well, let me just pull that out of my A*#... Like I just have a but load of those laying around. You would think they would let you know that when you bought it. I could go on and on but I have better things to do with my time. Bottom line, it is junk, built like crap and is crap. Do not buy this. Save yourself the headache of having to haul it to the UPS store! More of my valuable time wasted!

Weighs in grains only
Decent small Archery scale. Comes with the 2 AA batteries needed. Haven't used it yet. Just got it today. It also comes with an arrow holder so they don't try to roll off of the scale. This weighs in grains only. It does not have any calibration weights. That will have to be purchased separately. I can't find any calibration weights in grains. Grams only. You'll also need the formula to convert grains to grams and grams to grains.1 grain = 0.0648g (grams)Grams to grains multiply grams x15.432Grains to grams multiply grains X 0.0648I hope this helps.

Great scale if calibrated correctly
This scale will work great if you calibrate it at 200 grams not grains. I used 40 nickels. The pass fail feature is misleading. Use exactly 40 nickels or a 200 gram calibration weight and it will work fine. Easy way to tell if you calibrated it properly is if the weight is stable . If your weight keeps changing take the batteries out and reinstall them , then recalibrate the scale to grams.

October Mountain Products - Accu-Arrow Scale
Great little compact Arrow scale. Had it set up in just a matter of seconds. I had all ofmy arrows weighed at the local Pro Shop I use. So I knew just what all my arrowsweighed in at. This little scale shot the same weights that I have obtained from my localPro Shop. I was actually kinda of expecting them to be off by 1 or 2 grains, but they weren't.Just so ya know, when setting the calibration the directions wanted me to use a 200 grain weight.Well I didn't purchase 1 of these, so I just used 2 of my 100 grain broadhead tips. So there is morethan 1 way to skin a cat! I would recommend this this little portable scale to all archers that are justwanting to check everything out before entering the hunting fields.
