Pointless
Probably the most overpriced box on Amazon. Flimsy. Hard to move. Light works when it wants. Scoop broke after a month.Just get a normal box. You don’t need this. Y

Just buy it!
We have 2 cats, one fat, one skinny. Both can get in and out without a problem! We have seen substantially less litter tracking but I will say we see little to none when this litter box is used with crystal litter. It's super easy to scoop and to wipe down. The only complaint is getting the bulk of old litter out because of the width of the box (almost as wide as a kitchen trash bag).

Still Amazing After Two Years
After two years the top post of the door broke during an breakdown clean. Came online to try to find a replacement door. This is one of the best litter boxes I have ever owned. It helps keep the odor down and keeps crazy cats from flinging litter everywhere as they flail around trying to cover their business. The open grill also keeps them from tracking the litter into the room. 5 out of 5 Stars Litter and Odor ContainmentCleaning - Daily cleaning is mostly quick and easy. Adding litter from the big 14+ Lb boxes is Not as simple as pouring it in. 4 out of 5 Stars Daily CleaningLong term cleaning is a challenge. Poop isn’t consistent over the long term. Sometimes cats gets upset stomachs too. Well that’s when there is a breakdown in the system. When things get messy it can get into a lot of very small cracks and crevices in the device. Our 18 year old before she passed had urinary problems and so that got into the small spaces too. Cleanup in these cases requires a complete tear down (which is just as easy as set up). You need a large space and you need more than just water and soap. A brush small enough to get between the hard to get places and strong enough to get hardened residue off of the plastic. It cleans up fantastically, although the plastic is degraded by the cats claws and the box does get discolored. Difficult but doable. After two years the door broke because I didn’t remove it before trying to clean. 2 out of 5 StarsOverall 4 out of 5 StarsThe failure of the door is not a manufacturing defect but perhaps a design flaw. There could have been stronger supporting material around the post.

Wish it were just a bit bigger!
I love how easy it was to put together, and how it came with every little detail down to the mini screw driver and batteries. I also like that it’s light and its material easy to clean (withstands w various products). The light/lamp was a cute and convenient touch, and the way it’s designed most definitely helps keep down the litter tracked around the house. My only concern is that it be a bit small. The bottom tray is a decent size, but one didn’t account for the “vent” which takes up a good portion of that area.. I would say my cats are normal size and some even smaller than the average, yet it seems too compact for them to comfortably dig and pick a spot. They’re all very curious and find it easily approachable, but quickly display uncertainty (claustrophobic)…If this were to be an additional width of the vented area or more, it would be perfect!! PLEASE PLEASE MAKE ONE FOR “LARGE” CATS!!! I’D BUY TWO.

Less mess, more yes
This litter box is one of the better looking I have seen. I previously purchased a litter box that was more expensive and "aesthetic" however functionally it was leaving a mess for us to clean up on a daily basis. I appreciate the attempt to remedy the issue of cats spreading litter outside of the litter box and had hoped this would solve our problem entirely, however it's not PERFECT. That being said, it has greatly improved the amount of time we need to spend cleaning up cat litter each day from our bathroom floor. My main feedback relates to the inclusion of the light. This is helpful when cleaning, but feels like an unnecessary addition. Initially I thought this light used a motion sensor and was meant to help the cat see as it's somewhat a cavernous experience for them I am sure. Overall, would recommend this litter box to anyone looking for something they don't feel embarrassed about leaving in the open where guests might see it and who may need some additional guardrails for cats who like to spread litter all over the floor when they're done using the litter box!

Not for me
I hated the price but was otherwise very excited to find a decent looking litter box that looked easy to maintain with my physical limitation. But it didn’t work for me or my kitty unfortunately. It is definitely a more attractive litter box that has both an access door and a light for cleaning, ventilation to reduce odors (and destink with optional battery filter), and a slotted floor exit to reduce litter tracking. But here are the cons after attempting to use it: the box is more or less a top and bottom when assembled but these two pieces do not lock and it is VERY heavy when filled with litter making it very difficult to move. This is necessary for cleaning so that is tough. As others mentioned, the slotted floor area is not viable for storage since it is an extension of the litter pan, but this was a non issue for me bc I don’t intend to store anything in there cause ewwww it’s a litter box. The brush didn’t make it beyond opening day bc it is like just a little hair dye brush. No biggie, I just use my usual little hand and/or full broom for kitty. The kicker for me was the entry for kitty, bc it’s narrow and looks like it goes nowhere. The cat has to make hard right turning completely in the opposite direction. I also don’t think there is a lot of light coming from the narrow entrance/exit bc it seemed the cat thought he was locked in when put into the litter pan with the door closed…and he just pushed against the door trying to get out:( He was eventually coaxed out the narrow exit. We had major clean up after that. We have to leave the door open now just for him to use it. I also struggle to clean it a bit reaching in and under to clean and because it slides to the slotted floor side. I loved the concept but it really didn’t work for us at all; I tried to return it but missed the window by a day:(
