Crappy handle

what a complete waste of money. this tool looks like it would work but is a complete piece of junk. cant think of any other way to repurpose this tool but as far as destroying every shrimp and prawn I tried it on, never again. if you buy one after reading this review, its on you.

I wanted a deveined. Peeling is easy, deveining isn’t what’s important. It was less easy to do it with this tool, probably because it does 2 things. I went back to a simple pointy deveiner

I thought it looked stupid but I bought one anyway.WOW - I love this thing. I peeled half a kilo of fresh Gulf shrimp in about 10 minutes. It took me exactly 2 shrimp to get the hang of it. After that it was clean sailing.If you love shrimp and hate cleaning them then you need one of these.Everybody on my Christmas list is getting one.

I'm going back to the curved plastic, simple, shrimp deveiner. I don't know if it was just too large or what - actually, I had some pretty large gulf shrimp - but it was awkward to use and just didn't get the job done.
