Crispy crust!
Pied crusts cook evenly and there is no sticking to the pan. Clean up is a quick scrub in very hot water and towel dried. Produces great results time and time again.

Sturdy---will last a lifetime
Our strawberry-rhubarb pie turned out great with a good crust. I bought another one for my niece because I was impressed with the quality and baking results.

Quality!
I have given this pie pan to my children and granddaughters as presents. They tell me they love them, sending me pictures of what they are baking. They baked pies and quiches and they turn out delicious. Cooking in cast iron makes the best meals. One just must be careful not to leave in water.

This is the perfect size for pies. They turn out perfectly browned. I love lodge cast iron!

Easy seasoning, easy use, sturdy
I prefer cast iron and stoneware. Easy to "season" tge cast iron, making it as nonstick as all the newest cookware that have chemically-based nonstick surfaces. And this doesn't peel, flake or scratch and get ruined. Wipe the cast iron in oil, place on a cookie sheet with aluminum foil in a cold oven. Set oven to 400 degrees, leave it in for 1 hour, turn off and let the cast iron stay in the oven til cold again. Easy! And if something happens, just do it again! On stoneware, i clean it with Dawn. Before cooking with it, wipe good cooking oil on it, when ready to bake, DON'T put in a preheated oven-it will break.

Brown crust..finally!
I use this pan all the time! Crusts brown nicely..i t cleans easily..dry it immedietly after cleaning. I set on hot burner for few min to dry on low..going to purchase another so i have 2 for the holidays to use. Comes preseasoned. Recommend..Reasonably priced! Not heavy to hold..

Excellent product
Very pleased with my Lodge pie pan, it’s excellent quality and very well made. The pies I have baked in it, have all turned out really well (no more soggy bottom pies). Best thing I have ever baked a pie in.
