Using in conjunction with oyster shell flour for chickens
Had a problem with soft shell eggs and read a blog that recommended this, working great for my chickens. I sprinkle a little bit on the fermented food I mix for them along with oyster shell flour and mix it through. So far seems to be working great.

seems good
if you don't mind taking 1/8 tsp once a week, then you can get alot of bang for the buck.1/8 tsp is about 50,000 iu according to my calculation. vit d is fat soluble so can be stored in body and don't need to take every day.

Works well in smoothies, make own capsules/blends
I have purchased and tried several XPRS Nutra products and they have all been satisfactory. When I am looking for a supplement or food based health item, I often search XPRS Nutra offerings. I prefer powders over capsules, so their stuff especially appeals to me. Also would work for those that like to make their own blends and fill their own capsules.I take D3 daily, upwards of 40,000 iu per day. I always take it with fat, and I always include vitamin K2 (mk-4, mk-7) as it is going to help the increase in calcium from D3 to go where it needs to. Otherwise problems can occur. Fun fact: D3 really has no known upper limit. Any issues that arise is not from toxicity, but because there was too much calcium being made and allowed to run freely through body. Adding in sufficient K2 keeps issues as bay as it directs calcium to the correct body parts/functions.So keep that in mind when using this. Go find a K2 supplement to take along with it.The powder is fine for use in smoothies. While I normally take a softgel (with fat), the bag of powder appealed to me because I am a little bit of a prepper and I want to make sure I have plenty of a much needed vitamin (well, actually it is a hormone, seco steroid). I figure if I like this, then I will get more and put it into storage. So far so good.Looks like they cleaned up the product page from the time some of the reviews have been written. All info is correct now, and I would say that if they were to add anything else, it should state how much 50 mg contains of D3. Since this contains some fillers, that weight is not all D3. Their website says that 50mg provides 5000IU of D3 BUT it also says there are no other ingredients. So, I dont actually know how much is in a measured 50 mg serving. Likely a little less than 5000. I will see if I can dig up more info.Use a scale to measure out 50mg, then thereafter can eyeball it.So far so good, will update if I learn/experience anything worth sharing.
