INVALUABLE TOOL FOR OLDIES
Brilliant bit of kit. These are £8.99 each and identical to others on Amazon for a much higher price. These other sellers are taking the mickey even some for £30 which are identical in looks and action. I tested out the one I bought first,and picked up a tiny five pence piece,edgewise, from a shiny floor. Also as a test .177 (4.5mm) BB airgun pellets. It worked so well I bought two more. One for the kitchen,and one for upstairs,the original for the lounge. I WD40'd the inside string and then duct taped the two sections (where it splits),together. Best buy FOR AGES. RECOMMENDED! NOT 5* OUT OF FIVE. 10 stars out of ten.

Useful for litter picking
I bought this for litter picking in my town. I wanted something folding so I could pack it away once I'd finished a session as it's awkward to juggle a litter picker and shopping bags. It folds in half neatly - the mechanism for doing so can be stiff if you've left it up for a while but works after a few attempts. The head isn't quite as good at picking up fine small items like sweet wrappers and cigarette buts as my other one despite the "pincers" meeting well - it doesn't seem to grip quite as well. Having said that it manages things like cans and drinks bottles fine. Overall despite the "pinchers" looking more fragile than my others, it's proved durable.

grate little pick er upper
bought this for my husband as he has mobility issues and quite often drops things on the floor . He uses this to help keep his independence and lesson his frustration with having to ask others for help . The fact that it is foldable means it takes up less space and less conspicuous, easier to keep on his little table beside him .

Strong and easy to use
Liked how long, strong and sturdy it was. Another plus was our young grandson used to like to use previous one to play with but he is not interested in this one as he can’t make it work,

Poorly made grabstick no fit for purpose!
Used as a helping hand grabberleft side weekness since having a stroke. The pins that hold the 2 claws are nowhere near strong enough neededto be Aluminium! Rivet type?

Works well, is a bit stiff for my 3yo but thats expected as it grasps well.
Great size for 5+ yr olds, my 3yo wanted to be a bin man zombie for Halloween and has been obsessed with picking up rubbish since it arrived. Great for getting the kids into cleaning up the planet :)

Almost perfect
Picks up bottle tops even flat tops.Crisp packets , bottles, cigarette butts ,broken glass etcOnce folded in half it does not stay in half ,it tries to open up again . Could do with a loop to hang it from my mobility scooter so it can stay undone.I use it to pick litter in the park (daily) whilst taking my dog for a walk.
