I purchased the set as a gift for a friend because I have used the hand wash in the past and I absolutely love the fragrance. Hopefully she will too!

The bottles are delightful frosted glass, I though they would be plastic. They were incredibly well wrapped, box in a box bubble wrap around each item, bubble wrapped together. And filled with paper. Not a chance they'd break in transit!

Gardenias always remind me and my mom of her mother so I gave her this set for Mother’s Day. My mom loved it! They feel luxurious with the glass bottles and she loves the smell.

Great smell. Beautiful glass bottles. I would prefer the soap and lotion consistency to be a bit more thicker for the price. I was expecting a luxurious feel.

These were givin as a gift. The bottles are pretty and are of heavy glass. My mom has reported that they smell wonderful and she wants more. Lol

I bought the Gardenia sent. It was far too strong and smelled like detergent.

Since deciding to use only cruelty-free cosmetic products, I've had to abandon some of my favorite lines. So I was delighted to discover La Chatelaine's hand wash and lotion set. The glass bottles are beautiful and the scent is both subtle and pleasing. I'm so glad that I didn't had to sacrifice any of my aesthetic considerations to enjoy these cruelty-free products.

Good to use and soft.

I ordered the lavender scented one and every time someone goes in my bathroom to wash their hands, they come out talking about how much they love the hand soap and cream. Planning to order more and try out the coconut scented one as well.

Love the decorative bottles. I like that one pump is all I need to get lots of suds. My hands feel clean and soft after washing with the soap. Even softer when I apply the hand lotion.

The bottles it comes in are really nice. I didn't like the smell so much, really perfumy smelling. It's too strong for handsoap.

I got won over by other reviews, how it works on the hands so well, and the smell is so nice... I went for orange leaves because I got a different brand product recently which smelled of orange leaves and was divine!Unfortunately, my experience of THIS smell was quite the opposite. In fact, this may be the worst-smelling product I've ever encountered-- I HAD to dispose of it. It was a very pungent, strong smell.I really tried to like it, I mean, the hand lotion did work reasonably, and the soap worked-- But, I couldn't get over the smell. It was like anti-aromatherapy for me!So, word to the wise-- Get a small sampler of this stuff first if you can.However, the bottles are lovely and I kept them, so, at least there's that. :)
